I would take current MM tree over so-called rework. MM haters, fake hunter mains and Pollyannas will be mad at me but someone must speak the facts.

What have you lost?

1-) Historical change of Winrunner’s Guidance:

Aimed Shot 12% chance to grants Trueshot for 10 seconds.

Aimed Shot 12% chance to grants Trueshot for 6 seconds. (after nerf)

Aimed Shot reduces Rapid Fire’s cd by 2 seconds, every 2 Aimed Shots increase duration of next Trueshot for seconds, up to 10 seconds. (current)

They will remove it in TWW.

2-) Current Legacy of the Windrunners grants 1 charge of Aimed Shot and generate 30 Focus after casting Aimed Shot 6 times. Also it will be removed.

3-) Lone Wolf will be nerfed by 50%.

4-) Deadeye talent (2 charges of Kill Shot and 3 sec cd reduction) will be removed. (I don’t play beta so if it will be base ability please correct me)

What is new?

1-) Reworked Wailing Arrow tree. In short, if you cast 10 Aimed Shots, your next Aimed Short becomes Wailing Arrow and resets the cd of Rapid Fire and generates 2 charges of Aimed Shot.

Also Trueshot grants Wailing Arrow. I can’t find any logic in this. Trueshot already reduces cd of Aimed Shot and Rapid Fire by %70 so this is a clearly intersection. I find it perfunctory.

2-) Rapid Fire Barrage could have be the best change. But not after 1 minute cd and 60 Focus cost.

When it comes to Hunter tree, Survival of the Fittest change is good but that is all. Because you can’t benefit from most of them since number of talent points are not enough and distribution of talents are unfavorable in the tree.
