Those that play frequently and in premades have honor lvl as their primary goal. I cant speak for all, but for most of them it is. You see, premades were rare before Legion, it was mostly guildies playing a couple BGs together.
Blizz developers are to blame, they should of easily foreseen what could happen when they implemented honor levels in Legion.
Honor levels are important, how much you have of it decides how much respect you get from your fellow community members. Its sad but true, and let me tell you a secret;
Stomping plebs is not their primary goal. They compete with each other on who has the most honor level, thus increasing the respect they get from fellow community members by having high honor level. There is even requirements to join these communities. One of them is to be honor level 500 to join. I know it because I am in these communities aswell.
There are events happening aswell, which everyone that is a member has to participate in. One of the events are when a Moderator selects 20 players from the community and tell them to farm as much honor levels as possible. The event lasts for one week. Those that have farmed the most gets gold prizes, and those that have farmed the least gets a 2 week ban from joining any premade within the community.
Itâs a shame that the game is going downhill like this, sometimes when you manage to get a game without a premade e.g. a 40-50 minute AV where you have to fight for every single base and the front is constantly moving one way or the other, it reminds you how epic bg can be entertaining and what I like it for, even if you lose itâs still fun. Itâs a shame that these days such games are a minority and most of your time will be spent with a deserter debuff or being farmed or forced to farm others with premade.
Why should a number that requires no skill to increase command respect? Your honor level automatically increases from just playing PvP. Itâs just a matter of how much time you can invest into this game.
Getting Hero, Gladiator or Legend and R1 is impressive.
Having 500 honor levels on the other hand just says you have played PvP for around 1000 hours.
I saw a druid with almost 900 honorlvl and almost 800k HKâs. He had a legit win loss ratio though so he earned that stuff. pretty insane. but in a fair way.
Compare that to someone like zadĂł for example who has 1200 honor lvl and zero ach that requires skill. and has 97% winrates in all epics. is just cheating. How people can respect cheaters is beyond me.
Nope. Zero respect. Also it has nothing to do with leadership qualities. We wiped the floor with him the first fight and he ragequit and then admits he left to make them lose. What a great leader! what great qualities! You have no clue. You think the imaginary value you hold to your ingame activities warrants being an absolute douche or even worse, a cheater. Im not saying they should be perm banned. 1-3days would be fine since it shows what they did are not okey.
Obviously they should add changes that makes it impossible at the same time, but telling ppl its fine to ruin other peoples gameplay by, which can be questioned, breaking blizz ToS or as some say âbending the rulesâ should not be encouraged. Right now it currently is, considering blizz moto for DF has been âExploit early, exploit oftenâ.
That is literally one of the nerdiest thigs I have ever heard, these people really are the weirdest bunch, no wonder they get so excited about being with friends in game cos real people outside of gaming are gonna find them ridiculous.

just logging a character and playing bg for the sole purpose of pvping and having fun even doing it 8 hours a day everyday, wont get you at 1.5
more pvp should award more honor level, but ive seen only a handful of players that did more pvp than me, im around 900, anything above 1.5 is just bs.
I dont know why you feel the need to talk people down because they game with friends. Alot of gamers game with friends. Its not something strange to do.
Its as normal as going with ur rl friends to a gig.
For the exact same reason as a lot of people like to talk down to me and others for playing solo⌠âOhh you must have no friendsâ etc etc etc, see where Iâm going with it?
Also, if I was going to join as a group with friends, I would 100% want it to be versus other like teams, otherwise why on Earth would I bother? What would be the point? Games would be virtually guaranteed before the gates even opened, if I wanted that kind of playstyle I could just as easily play an offline game and enter codes for infinite lives or some other way of making the game so easy that it becomes a pointless waste of my time.
