Then how about you write from your healer character? I’m completely not interested in your progress and scores, tbh, but if you’re not a priest, then you heave at least 3 ways to prevent both disaster you descriebed. If you’re good player and know your kit, that is.
Absolutely love it. Not sure which is better, the actions by Blizzard, the tears from the leavers in this thread or delusions of grandeur like this:
Then how about to start reading what is written?
And you didn’t answer - why i must keep suffering from group stupidity instead of finding another one?
People do seem to be reacting as if it’s any leaving that will land them in hot water.
I would think it has to be repeated (so leaving a lot) and most likely you need to be reported as well.
Great. Meanwhile nothing is being done against ninja looters and loot sellers in raids…
I do think blizz should explain a little better what they actually did. Like how to measure intent.
It isn’t about 1 leave. But i for sure had weekends where i spammed +10 City of threads keys in LFG to finally get into that 1 lucky run where stars aligned. I must have left 15 (i didnt count) keys before that happened. And where we said “+10 City of threads” another keylevel and another dungeon can be mentioned too.
I think they are probably being purposely vague so as to not give people clear cut offs of what they can/can’t do, in order to encourage better behaviour in general.
But they haven’t stated how many reports. Is it 4 (aka something abused by a whole party of friends) or is it 20 reports.
This is also streissanding the issue as now more people will openly report.
Is their a protection against groups reporting? Because if not, why don’t we just report the players that don’t kick, stand in swirlies and don’t use defensives during an AoE? They are the reason the key bricks, not the person leaving.
The wording is unclear, yes if you join a key with the intention of leaving, you should get punished, but if you join a key and see that the 2500 player you decided to try out isn’t doing anything other than pressing the buttons to do dps then why should you carry them.
I did an 8 yesterday to help a guildie gear up, the tank did more dps (1.3m) than the other 2 dps players (who were just over 900k each), as a warlock I was second on kicks behind the tank (my kick takes 3-5 business days to reset) and the hunter kept dying to not LoSing. If that was a 12 we would not have timed it.
Yeah, that i assume too. But i am reconsidering my ways of playing the game when i have the chance for being banned, just for trying to push keys. When they are vague i can only make the desicion to play safe. Which means; do not play.
Then Remove 15s death penalty
Thats the major issue and reason why people leave
Thats the affix you introduced and make people more toxic than before in m+
If you aren’t banned now, the chances are your behaviour is fine.
I’ve mostly only had to abandon keys if we’re trying to push as a group. In the group scenario none of us are reporting the others for sabotage. We are collectively agreeing we’ve messed up too much to time and we are only there for score.
When I do pug I tend to stay to the end regardless of whether it can be timed or not. I just consider it a weekly. Obviously there are times in those keys that pugs will just up and leave and you have no choice but to disband.
I dont know if i am banned. That is something i will see in about 6 hours when i am home. But it can also mean i am 1 leave away from getting banned. So i am not going to make a conclusion out of being not banned (yet).
Are you really leaving that many keys that you think you are at risk?
At times i have pushed keys in the weekend, for sure. It is challenging content. If you time 10% it is christmas. The idea is to just go over and over and over again in the same key.
Most of my abandoned keys for example are like the 12s we have gone in, completely messed up and are only doing for score. So as a group we decide to bin it. No one is getting reported for that.
By the words of the blue that is only allowed occasionally. Whatever that means.
Dear Blizzard:
a) than add ilvl score to the M+ UI when I sign up? The times I step in simple m+ 2/3/4 to because i am ‘bored’ to find 550 - geared players who do less dps than healers ?
b) if you continue with this control method you officially kill pugs.
c) great many times is subjective. Put your money where your mouth is and make it transparent, tangible and clear for everyone.
Respectfully yours,
Eminus
I would then just kick my router next time when I have four toxic teammates:)
You cannot know that as they didnt state clear rules.
For all you know you can get randomly banned tonight when you leave even 1 key and ai kicks in flagging you as leaver
If you want to believe that this
means leaving one key, then be my guest.
I prefer common sense. This targets people who are excessively leaving keys.
