If you allow your employees to sexually harrass your other employees and fail to take adequate action to prevent it from happening again, yeah, you can get sued.

what about spreading around pictures of a persons gentials and then, as their supervisor, taking lube and butt plugs with you to a work business trip?
Or the groping, attempting to kiss them, propositioning them, commenting on their breasts, and so on?
Or is it easier to defend them if you only acknowledge it as ‘flirting’?

Furthermore, this isn’t only about SH, it’s also about discrimination and inequity in regards to salaries and such, so yeah…

If I’m unhappy about my salary I quit and go work somewhere else, that’s how a free market works.

Blizzard have issued their own statement claiming

" The DFEH includes distorted, and in many cases false, descriptions of Blizzard’s past"

Then one paragraph later say:

" Over the past several years and continuing since the initial investigation started, we’ve made significant changes to address company culture and reflect more diversity within our leadership teams. We’ve updated our Code of Conduct to emphasize a strict non-retaliation focus, amplified internal programs and channels for employees to report violations, including the “ASK List” with a confidential integrity hotline, and introduced an Employee Relations team dedicated to investigating employee concerns. We have strengthened our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and combined our Employee Networks at a global level, to provide additional support. Employees must also undergo regular anti-harassment training and have done so for many years."

Why would you need to make those changes if its all a distortion and false???

The lawsuit says they were jealous of a guy who came in and was promoted very quickly, having one on one meetings with the vice president. Maybe he was just extremely talented, and promoted faster than both his male and female colleagues. Some people here seem to think people should be promoted based on their gender or skin color.

Or maybe there’s a systematic issue at hand proven by the claims. Claims. Plural. You know, SH as well. Or was that just flirting for you, right?

You’re missing the point entirely.
Though to be honest I’m not sure you’ll ever get it.

It sure is one hell of a coincidence that this keeps happening with men far more than with women at the company.

And about his free market statement, I do wonder why Blizzard has seen such a mass exodus of developers and employees, and why perhaps massive layoffs have happened. The lawsuit says this has been the reason for leaving as well.

Regarding my first comment about other minorities, the lawsuit also goes into how WOC were also more vulnerable to harassment.

Are you going to ignore the bits about lower starting wages, lower promotion rates, objectively doing more of the work for less pay - and this being done at a structural level and not just to an individual or two?

You would be better off claiming that the filing is untrue and waiting for the results of the case than trying to downplay its contents.

where did you get this detail?

Innocent until proven guilty, how many times do we need to repeat the same mistake?

Not true. Josh from Method was never proven guilty of anything yet he destroyed an organisation.

The lawsuit. Around page 14-15.

This is not a simple word against word, but as far as I’ve understood it, already proven things through investigations that are now brought into court by the state.

I don’t know much information about that Method drama, but I remember how many people started hating Kael’thas voice actor and then he was proven not guilty.

I’d advise you to not even try, it’s like talking to a brick wall with that one.
