Greetings, members of the Argent Dawn Community! With BlizzCon closing in quickly, we’ve seen many leaks and speculations concerning the next expansion, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a place where we may pool our thoughts and ideas! Let us discuss what ideas we have for where we may go, evidence to back it up, and have a whole bunch of fun! And even just listing where we hope to go and what we get! No restrictions here concerning spoilers, so if you don’t want to be spoiled, you’ve had your warning! Lets hear what you all have to say!

To start off with a far-fetched hope, I do pray for playable ogres next expansion . The updated moonkin skeletons of next patch have given me a sliver of hope for them, especially given they have been given new emotes and such, in addition to updated current ones, as they’ve historically shared rigging with ogres!

Since you have mentioned the new ogre skeleton animations; I do hope there are more mundane villain factions out there!
Now, I’m not saying they should be low fantasy or largely unimportant, but I would like some more villain factions that I know won’t go away just as quickly as they arrived with a sole focus on their leader. I need more things like the gnolls in the Azure Span, the Nokhud Clan; but around Azeroth itself, not just one region.
It would be lovely to have more things to work with both in roleplay and in game that aren’t ‘end-level threats’. Just something in the middle for every type of character to enjoy, to replace all those factions that would fit in these niches that have either been redeemed, destroyed, or outright forgotten.

It seems to be soft confirmed that we will be going to Khaz Algar, due to the Algarian Stormrider mount that was datamined. Who’s ready to meet some earthen? We need dwarf RPers over there!
I’m taking this from an MMO Champion post (a bastion of credibility), the only reason I care to post it is because the guy posting it got immediately banned. Does that lend ot more weight? Or less? Mostly just enjoy the post.
WoW Stormfall
Max level is 80
New island continent with 6 zones and a giant hole in the middle. Capital city is a vertical Ironforge named Khaz Algar.
No new races and class. More customizations and support spec for shaman.
Open world faction free content. Warmode is open PvP.
Big feature is Exploration. Torghast like content where you explore themed dynamic dungeons. This time, it is infinite and has a leaderboard. Gives item for Great Vault and a lot of cosmetic.
Keyforging allow you to add modifiers to your key like Bloodlust has a 5 minutes CD but now enrages the nearby enemies.
Dragonriding for gryphons, hippogryph, wyvern and bats. Renamed into Sky Mastery.
Itemization revamped. New item modifier. Old gem system is back.
Spell cosmetic. You can disable them.WoW Classic
Cataclysm is next. Launches in June 2024. Portal pass includes an Atramedes mount.
Season of Invasion is next. Each zone can be invaded by the Burning Legion, the Scourge, Elementals or Qirajis. Dungeon are impacted and gain a new boss while open world mostly have elite monsters roaming in already dangerous areas. Classic HC will have seasonal servers too. Raid bosses will gain mechanic based on the current invasion.
No Classic +.Hearthstone
New expansion is Delights of Pandaria
New keyword is Simmer. Gain bonus effect the longer you keep the card in your hand.
Two legendaries per class : A chief who impacts your deck at the beginning of the game and a spell (Masterpiece)
Monk is coming to Hearthstone. Chen Stormstout is the monk hero.
Hero Power change with a new keyword : Stance. Can deal damage, heal or transfer damage to another target.
Mechanic is chi. You can store chi like mana and use it instead of mana. You can’t play cards that cost more than your mana cost with excess chi.
2v2 is coming next year for the 10 years anniversary.Warcraft 3
Going free to play. People who bought Reforged will have the two first campaign pack for free.
Soft Reforged reboot with paid new campaign for Q2 2024. Free to play. Graphisms are rebooted and are more cartoon like WoW.
Goal is 1 campaign every 3 months for 2 years.
Skins for units in store. Preordering campaign gives you campaign cosmetics for your units.
First campaign is NE and is centered around War of the ancient
Second campaign is Kel’thuzad and the cult of the DamnedWarcraft Rumble

Names are heavily inspired by greek mythology with a technological twist. Main story is pretty much old godly civilizations with highly advanced technology who fought for the Evermount and eventually died. Mortals now dwelves into the ruins of their people to gather technology and seek dominance over the world.
4 different races which are Dryads (forest elves), Ulyssians (ppl who put their soul into rusty robots), Sethers (evil satyrs), and Herenites (harpys)
5 tiers of construction. You first ride horses and end up flying with runic mech wings.

HotS will have a new custom game mode using SC2 map editor.
New interface for custom Blizzard content like WC3 maps, HotS and SC 2 Arcade.
Blizzard’s Custom includes assets of all 3 games.

wasn’t the hearthstone expansion already announced. why would they announce another entirely different one like two weeks later
surely that would be a marketing no no
The post was put up before the new HS expac announcement, so…maybe. New class in Monk could be enough to make them drop it at Blizzcon.
Unrelated but mildly amusing, here’s a leak for Wrath I saw before it was announced…most of which was entirely accurate.

I always love going back and looking at the leaks and peoples reactions to them. Cataclysm was a real high point for how farfetched it sounded.
To be fair to that WotLK one, all of that is correct from what we knew at the time. When Blizzard announced it, they were unsure themselves on the mechanics to unlock Death Knight. At one point it was floated that you would have to have a character die to then become one.
Honestly I’m fine with that leak (where WoW is involved at least) and don’t hate it

Also, w may have a brood of green dragons in the next expansion, according to a book found in the next patch! I hope that we can see how they’ve adapted to their new home.
Idk about leaks, but I know for sure what WON’T happen:
- Tinker or Bard class
- New battleground(s)
- South seas
And then I dread these, praying and hoping they will never happen:
- Borrowed power similar to Legion, BFA and SL
- Light/Void expansion
May it never come to pass.

Placing my bets on a World Revamp personally, the adjustments to fog, lighting and them toying with the size of old world zones seems like a lead-up to something whilst Khaz Algar is their “red-herring” they’re throwing out.

New Support Specs are a given, tank shaman perhaps, discipline changed to support, survival changed to a support-melee.

I don’t see them doing new races or classes, at most it’ll be allied races but I do expect a lot more customisation options across the board for all races to be added.

Dragonriding for all flying mounts is a given, they’ve already confirmed this’ll happen.

More fleshed out dragonriding systems; races, abilities, tweaks etc.
Personally don’t see the appeal in going to Mists of Pandaria 4 where we have yet another humongous continent that’s mysteriously inaccessible due to a magical mist, I would much prefer to see the races and areas we have refreshed and expanded.

That’s my concern too. At this point, a revamp or just straight-up a new world to explore needs to be on the cards.
