Add a Barbershop

“Just roll an alt”
Listen lads not everyone has so much spare time that they can just throw hundreds of hours away over a haircut lol

Then make sure you’re actually happy with the look of your character before going through 60 levels

Why is it so hard for you to grasp that some people might just get bored of their characters apperance after a few weeks/months? Look I really don’t care about this at all but some of you people are just ridiculous in your replies lol.

I just don’t care if some people get:

  • bored with the look of their character
  • disillusioned about their chosen faction
  • tired of facing premades all day
  • sick of struggling to find groups for RFC and Mara
  • annoyed by not having summon stones
  • exhausted by layers, queues, locked servers and transfer blocks.

But I do care that I’m bored, disillusioned, tired, sick of, annoyed by and constantly exhausted by people who thought they did… but they didn’t.

I can answer that.

WoW classic it’s made in such a way that your every decision you take matters. And most players likes this concept, that you either don’t get a second chance or it’s very expensive, adding significant weight when choosing something.

As to why are some reacting so aggressively?
I was wandering myself about that but over time I understood.
Because once you agree with an implementation like this then so many others will come with this kind of demands here arguing that “why not add this too, you did that so let’s do this too”, and they’ll be right in this scenario.

That’s why people are raging here looking like mad people. They just want their game as close as it was when they first played it. They are well aware of the bugs and all but they rather play as it is rather than risking weird changes.
This gams was released because these people demanded it. The #nochange camp not new players. And they are sick and tired of people coming into their game telling them how to play it and change it making it a modern game.

It’s not.
It just isnt needed.
Simples

But it has to matter in a meaningful way. Just saying “You’ve chosen a wrong haircut, so screw you, should’ve thought better” isn’t useful in any way and it doesn’t bring any value to the game.

No, they won’t. They will try to be right, for sure, but most of their analogies would imply actual gameplay changes that barbershops simply don’t have.

So why don’t we judge suggestions/changes on what they actually are, and not on “what could come next”?

Tell me who decides if a change will be “in a meaningful way”?
Do you ever suggest something that isn’t in a meaningful way?
Everyone who wants a change considers that their idea is the best ever. And there are plenty.

Do you see my point?

So to make it work there must be an in game vote system. So the majority can have a say on the matter.
There are already heated discussions on this matter as there are a lot of people not understanding the game or who dont know what they want and who knows what a system like this might bring to this game.

Huh? Blizzard does. My point is very simple: if the suggested change, like this one, doesn’t affect anything negatively, they should probably implement it. If it does, then they shouldn’t.

Do they now? Based on? Why didn’t they add a Barber Shop from the beginning?
How are you so certain that this won’t be a negative change? They can also add a race change. That won’t have any negative impact either. And many other “meaningful” and “positive” stuff.

But how will Blizzard know what’s what? By the few people here on the forum? No.
So they must implement an in game system to actually know rather than take a guess.

It’s not that simple.

Christ you still don’t get it lmao

No point arm wrestling with the neckbeards as blizzard isn’t gonna implent it regardless

Wouldnt be a bad idea to have a barber, it definitivly wont affect the game.
And i guess it would be even greater for a RP server.

What does that have to do with anything? I’m not saying they’re doing everything right. I’m saying they’re in charge of the decisions.

Because there’s no downside to having barbershops. If you see one, name it.

Are you crazy?

No they shouldn’t, they should make better decisions. And I don’t know if they will, but that doesn’t stop me from saying which changes they should implement and which they shouldn’t.

Oh sure Barber shop makes perfect sense but Race change is crazy. How are they different? It’s the same principal only the racials are different.
And there will be people arguing there is no difference what so ever as you argue about the Barber shop.

How Blizzard can make better decisions? If not for an in game vote. Explain please.
You can make better decisions for someone you don’t know? How?

A Barber shop is nothing like a bug or exploit that needs to be fixed and Blizzard just goes ahead and gets the job done.
It’s a feature, something extra to the game.

When shopping for let’s say furniture or electronics don’t you wanna be asked what you want?
Or you trust the store to “make better decisions” for you? How will they know you want a TV. What happens of they “decide” to give you a fridge. You take it home and call it a day?

Can I make a decision for you? Can I? It won’t have any negative impact no downside, if you see one just name it.

Race change would break immersion and allow minmaxing (abuse) of racials. Barbershops would do neither.

Look, your logic is all over the place, let me take you back to my initial point. Barbershops would be useful and bring no harm. That’s why Blizzard should implement them.
It doesn’t matter if that’d make people ask for more changes, Blizz doesn’t have to listen to everything.

Can you just answer me this, I’ve asked 3 times already.

HOW BLIZZARD CAN LISTEN?

My logic is solid. But you run away from answers.
Btw answer me this question too.

CAN I MAKE A DECISION IN YOUR PLACE?

Check the forums, see if there are good suggestions there, take the good ones and implement them after careful consideration and making sure they won’t affect the game negatively.

No, you can’t, go away.

Ohh yes, ceck the forum, ceck all the 20-30 people that are talking about this and let’s do it.
Not like there are thousands others that play this game.

If you don’t want me to take a decision for you then why do you want to take a decision for others?

And you say my logic is going places.

What does it matter where a suggestion comes from? They can discuss it internally and implement it if they want. Or not implement it if they don’t. Its up to them.

I’ve never said I want to decide anything for others. You’re just trying to be a strawman champion now. Not cool, man.

Check once again what my point actually is:

Is there anything in here that you disagree with?

I just can’t explain to you better than this. Impossible.

If you think BLIZZARD should add stuff to the game based on a few posts here and some “internal” meeting in THIS game that was DEMANDED with NOCHANGES than I surrender.

When people will tell you to go to Retail just don’t get mad and remember how much I tried to explain to you.

Have a nice day.
