Add Barber in BC Classic..PLEASE

yes, unfortunately nowadays beard is the only thing that can separate most men from women.
I’m male even without the beard.

I don’t doubt your irl masculinity, however that’s not really what this thread was intended for

well it looks like some are curious. I only aim to dispell any confusions.

Dispel? You chose the wrong class, then.

Now who’s walking a slippery slope?

you might want to check your seals, or lack of thereof.

Got nothing to do with masculinity, “bro”.

I can assure you, my peen ranges from A to Z on the keyboard.

I am just highlighting that a Classic World of Warcraft Male Human without a beard looks like something from a nightmare.

I can count the number of chins you have on both of my hands.

Should have picked the beard, matey.

If Barbershop means people would shut up about Dual Spec, I want Barbershop. In reality I’m indifferent.

Good thing but will not happen.

Yeah and when they can do that they can add dual spec too. And when they can do that they can add Dungeon finder too… oh and since they can do that they can add achievement system too and so on. See where this is going. What they should do is to keep it like it was. Keep it classic!

You’ll grow a 2yeard in 2 years

All of the things you listed affect gameplay, including the achievement system as it would encourage boosting services for titles etc.

Clear difference.

Agreed. On the other hand It took me some times to realise it but many of those systems were put in place because of how the players mentality changed. They are in fact more adapted to the 2021 playerbase. Which is an elitist playerbase which loves to discriminate whenever possible.

It does not take long to find what’s wrong currently in Classic and why some of those features would help.
That’s just my opinion though. I was an ardent supporter of #nochanges for Classic. With 2007 playerbase i am 100% for no changes. With 2021 playerbase i am 100% for changes.

Be it dual specs to let you have flexibility and min max in both pvp and pve or even wotlk dungeon finder (Tbc has a “group finder” already) to let everyone be able to run dungeons (not only metaspecs or CC specs).

talents are a non issue in tbc as respec cost is miniscule. it’s a mental barrier of having to invest something into getting something. in this case, going to a major city and speaking to a class trainer.

if you want what 2021 playerbase wants, there’s retail, go there, leave tbc classic alone.

What i want is 2007 playerbase. I won’t have it. Don’t get me wrong i wish there was a Classic old school playerbase. All i see is gdkp runs, boosts, bots everywhere, hyper rigid meta, unbanned RMT clients…they are not playing the game in a “normal” way.

2021 Classic playerbase is the same as retail playerbase. They want flexibility and quick wins. It’s not about me, it’s about what works in 2021 sadly. From a business perspective the solution is pretty simple imo.

Yes, there is a minority of vanilla lovers there, but my experience is that Classic attracts mostly players who never got to experience it from retail with a modern mindset. Love timed runs, raidlogs, fast loots etc etc…

this is where it should stop. this playerbase shouldn’t be catered to. 2007 playerbase asked for classic, not 2019 or 2020 playerbase.

We might be too late in preventing this, but we sure as hell can attempt to stop further bastardization.

As soon as people stop measuring shoe size and end this “tug of war” in retail vs classic, I find it hard to believe that ANY of the WoW player base would believe that a simple in-game barber option could possibly be a negative addition.

it’s not a negative addition by itself. it’s a negative addition in the grand scheme.
you can’t just cater to the barber shop crowd without catering to the race change, faction change, dual spec crowd.
they catered to the boost crowd and what a dumpsterfire it is turning out to be.

Penny for your thoughts, Blizzard?

Having barbers in tbc would be greatly appreciated. That way for anyone that made something they regret or that they wish to change

Just imagine having the freedom enough to cut your own hair. Game breaking.
