As title states, it seems it has been requested for years and should have no reason to not be there… “bliss take my money” lol.
I recently went through customer support as I transferred a toon from Hardcore over to Era and accidentally messed up my name change as the original was taken. I’d be happy to pay for the service. The GM I dealt with concluded I should come here and submit feedback in-game so here we are.

Investigate further and you will find ways to change your name.
Hence no need for this.
If you do a paid character transfer to another server - and make sure your current name is taken on the target realm - then you will get a free name change.
If your character is under level 30 you can change name by deleting original toon then creating same named toon on The server by different account (same account might work too?). Then restore character game forces you to rename. Over level 30 takes time under that level is insta
