Add report option for keys: "unreasonable leaving"

My friend d/cs frequently and his char stands still in game too. It’s not like the system can differentiate between an alt f4 and a disconnect.

Frequent DCs should also be punished. If someone has connection issues, they shouldn’t play M+ and grief a lot of keys

how about that : people cannot leave keys per se. we would press a “Readycheck-like” butten/Command to let the group decide to proceed the key if there is no hope to complete (to hard or something idk.) so that the “salty Reports” arent needed, Cause you cannot “/leave group”. ich a DC is about, let’s just say 5min. a simmilar window should popup for a group vote with a text like: Hansgar-blackhand is Offline since 5min, do you want to report for Sabotage of the Keystone or something? then simply Yes/no. i think 5min are more then enough after a crash of the Client to restart or if Premade: a 2nd person to write something like : short Power outtage, should take 5min max. or so. "Punishment i let Bllizzard decide

That would be something I agree with and basically just another way my notion can be implemented

that was intended, so that it is a bit more Clear and less room for missunderstandings

And this is why I have no time for these systems.

We finish the key we are in, with the disconnections (which may be just the one or could be a few) and go do something else once we are done. But we don’t abandon the keyholder because my friend’s internet has decided to have a flakey time that isn’t predictable. It just does it so now and then.

Recently my internet went down due to an unexpected outtage and it took them most of the day to get it fixed. If I’d been in a key that was out of my control and no way should I be punished for that.

I can’t see Blizzard going for this system.

It seems like a language barrier. Nobody says you should be banned for a one-time internet incident. I only said an artificial intelligence should spot frequent disruptive behaviour like frequent leaving and have reports trigger investigations by a.i. which then get reviewed by customer support, if it’s not obvious. If a person leaves very frequently in an abusive way, they should have all their rewards of the season revoked and get banned from participating in M+ and rated PvP and can then only do raids, and other things account-wide. This is also not targeted at people, who did it like 3-5 times, because they were frustrated with the group. This is targeted at the people, who leave very frequently in an abusive way. The A.I. should also review chat logs, and if the group was toxic and insulted the reported leavers before it occured, they should punish the reporters instead.

Like I said I can’t see Blizzard going for this system suggestion.

The scoring system is positive. This is quite the opposite.

Best of luck though.

If I can’t leave, I will just afk / fake dc / auto-run and so on.
I got invited in a 19 + key and after the same person died 4 times in the first 5 minutes, I was like “Hey guys, 19 + is not for learning the scripts, sorry not sorry”. I don’t join groups to boost the group leader’s clueless buddies.
but give me a button for “unreasonable leeching” and it will balance the things out.

I say “greetings” at the start of the key and “gg have a nice day/evening” at the end. If i think this key is cursed, because some1 is playing beyond bad/trolling or i get (rly) herassed for not playing mdi routes as tank, then i just leave. Talking is just digging his own grave in this report heavy community.

Rubbish, who do you think you are??? The internet police? LOL

Jesus, i only just saw this part!!! would you like all of his extended family killed as well???

You don’t get banned for calling people out. You only get banned for insulting them. If you say “yo, you do below healer dps, I’m gonna leave”. You don’t get banned. If you say “you are trash”, you will probably and rightfully so. I’m not saying you need to carry people, but if you join a run that is easily timeable and you leave out of spite, because one person is doing badly, what is about the other 3 people doing good enough to complete and time the key? Didn’t you join the +19 out of self-interest? Why do you think you are entitled to punish 3 other people, because someone dies 4 times? What if it’s my key, and I invite someone, who got boosted, but I had no good way to know. Why should you be allowed to punish me with my key for inviting this person, when the key will be completed and timed? Not doing a +2 or +3 is not a valid reason to leave.

Not really.

I was getting reported in massive amounts when playing torbjörn in Overwatch.

I wasn’t feeding, I wasn’t griefing - I was playing to get a torbjörn-only account to diamond and I got to diamond on it. Still got reported because I played torbjörn.

No reason to believe people wouldn’t do similar in WoW when they find out that the boomie they invited is actually a feral when the key has started and so forth.

Such sneaky :rat: deserves punishment on their own!

I mean I didn’t advocate for statistical bans. I advocated for A.I. to filter out malicious accounts and then have customer support review them

The AI that can’t even filter obscene language from a language that isn’t English that has the same word that’s considered obscene in English, lol.

This never gonna happen, indie company doesn’t have money for such many moderators.

They make so much money, and they could use the same team over many games. Why would they cheap out on this?

Because they cheap out basically on everything? How many years do you play WoW? WoW had greateast customer support and GMs. At that times I would believe in manual moderation. But long time ago already Activision started to cut off all the expensenses and just milk money, so now it’s not possible.
