Wait, were you not outraged that another player was ruining your key???
You laughed??!?!?!?!?
I dont understand, did you not call for the sacrifice of his/her firstborn??
And who will decide, what is reasonable and what is not? The Blizzard auto ban system that bans you after certain amount of troll reports that gets abused so heavily already? Sure.
this is not a strawman scenario only actual scenario which happend to me and something which i get troll infraction for after literaly writing " i cba with this dps"
so yes its very real scenario - and aparently according to blizz you are not allowed to refuse to carry such players
Currently, despite what a select few people seem to want you cannot be banned for leaving a key unless you are griefing.
I dont think its unreasonable to expect a person in a 16+ key to be doing average dps. So if you wanted to leave thats up to you.
I am sure that the key could still be timed so the choice is yours to leave or not.
See this is where you are wrong. As long as 4 people in this run reported you even for fake reason you will be infracted. If this happens 2-3 times you will get banned for no other reason then trolling reports because system is fully automated.
So yes technicaly ATM it is possible to get banned for refusal of carrying bad players
Lacking empathy, really?
So people should just take that as it is, then it seems you’re the one lacking empathy i’d say, saddling people up with your unstable connection?
At least give them a fair warning that it might happen at the start of the dungeon, but then you know what would happen right?
And no, i don’t want to punish everyone, get a stable connection and you’re all good.
Don’t be so edgy, it’s silly.
See, this person has a normal thinking process regarding this point made?
Incidentally is annoying at best, repetitive then it should be punished as well, though i don’t know many that deliberately do this, but wouldn’t amazed if they did.
You assumed i have an unstable one , i was merely pointing out the countries that do not have stable net
No need to be rude and resort to personal attacks.
They want guilds and communities to be abolished because they are apparently toxic to the game and m+ to have key levels removed because they are also toxic to the game. The person you are talking about is one of the most toxic people on the forum and calls people trolls for not agreeing to there posts. How is that normal thought process?
also if you knew a person had through no fault of there own bad net due to there country they would never get into keys.
Anyway ty for the reply - the edgy/silly attack which was not warrented at all but you do you good night.
it’s really not that hard to not queue for m+ if you know your might have a power outage like i still don’t understand how it’s other people’s problem. you can always risk it by accepting that you will get a punishment for leaving. i’d be ok with a report option too but they’re already too busy with all the bots in the game i don’t think adding more work on them would be the solution here. just put down a deserter debuff/rating loss/chat ban etc. something .
don’t they have a planned power cut ? they could just follow the schedule also i have my own issues too but i don’t expect others to play the game according to my schedule ? i do consider them but still doesn’t make it our problem. i spent years with bad internet connection that stopped me from queueing in online games but i didn’t go to forums to say STOP THE GAME . we all have our own issues that we live with. we’re talking about m+ queues in world of warcraft it’s nothing serious but if we can help somehow to make sure that they have enough power so the outage doesn’t happen , then i’ll be happy to support that.
outages can happen for any of us ? that’s not an answer. we all risk that when we queue . if there’s a schedule then it means it mostly happens according to that schedule. you dodged my question if there was a way to support thier power supply. posting on wow forums doesn’t help anyone with their power outages.
They are meant to be planned. I didn’t dodge your question. They can happen at any time. Sure, its a low chance in the UK. In South Africa where the infrastructure is old and broken etc unexpected outages can happen somewhat frequently. You can go months without one and then have 3 in two days.
Support their power supply? Do you want me to go and mine coal for them or learn to operate a nuclear reactor? It’s a national problem and a national scandal, I’m not sure me doing a go fund me whip round or posting thoughts and prayers on the forum will restore a cities power.
What do you even mean by “support their power supply”? I mean, really?
by donating to an organisation that helps with supplying more power from surrounding countries …
i don’t live in the UK. Also if we’re talking about issues my country’s economy is in crisis right now and sub is kinda expensive even with local pricing, will you help me push a campaign for making wow free to play ? or your support to others only happens when it doesn’t affect you.
it’s really bad but other games have these deserter rules so wow can have them too. there can be exception for countries like SA or Spain or who else have that issue. it would be way better than not having any. there’s always a solution if you want to find one.
