Add report option for keys: "unreasonable leaving"

Once again back to the old question. Who are you to decide how i should spend my time in game?

and lets pretend that 95 % of people who leave dont do it exactly because of this reason

lets force everyone into carrying baddies indefinetly .

now what is more toxic - people who leave failed run or people who do like 30k dps in +18 ?

because thats what i got my last infraction in game month ago and yes im salty as … about this till today because those people as long as they are in guildies can abuse this system and get no punishement for it.

I can’t say I’ve ever considered low dps ‘toxic’

so are you saying that 30k dps is acceptable dps in +18 ?

and people should be forced by system to carry such players ?

Thats not what Puny said. Some people are not great at the game and do low dps. They are unlikely to be doing it on purpose They may just be bad. I dont consider someone that does low dps as toxic but, at the same time i would not want to have to carry them in my keys.

Why are you making up strawman scenarios? Sometimes you have smooth runs that have 1 wipe, because of a mistake. It would easily still be timeable, but someone just lashes out at others and leaves.

Right we’re trying to have an actual discussion. How about go away let the people this matters to talk. You got nothing helpful to say

But what if you are their reason to leave?
in other words what if you are the PROBLEM

I would wonder why they were doing low dps but it’s hardly ‘toxic’

To keep it short: I’m a very good player nowadays, so I usually carry +20ies, even if someone does 30k dps.

When I was learning though in may I still remember having had a +11 key, where a healer left after the very first pull in VP, because of “low damage”. I’m not sure why this is allowed and there is not even a report option for that behaviour. If you join a key, you should at least have the decency to stay for 5 minutes to see, how people do. Not instantly leave at the first mistake you see. It’s also against the social contract.

As said, I don’t want people to tyranically ban DC or encourage mass reporting. I simply want people, who grief very excessively, to be punished. I’m sure there are a few people leaving constantly almost every dungeon they join. I actually think this behaviour is not very common, but when it happens, it is really annoying.

I highly doubt this is the case. There are maybe an incredibly small percentage who are actually doing this to grief people. There are not a lot of players who are paying a sub just so they can be disruptive.
People are free to leave a dungeon for whatever reason they see fit and its not up to you or me to decide when they play or how they play. If someone is intentially disrupting your key there is a report mechnism for that.

i don’t know if it’s true but i heard that some people from a certain realm do it on purpose to deplete other players’ keys but it’s just a rumour that i heard.

Once in a blue moon shouldn’t be a problem?

However four to six times a month i’d say better get these affairs in order before joining a key?

Shouldn’t be a problem if that’s agreed upon before starting a key?
Dungeon tool should make categories for completion conditions in the combobox.

Agreed, and some people should just take a step back.
The most annoying over achievers were the people who failed most of the time, and the most relaxed people i’ve seen were no elitist jerks.

I’ve heard that happening in SA, but Spain as well?
Be that as it may, how should this be other peoples issue?
If you can’t guarantee completing a run, then make it known beforehand?

Me too, I normally tell them to go make a quick coffee while I solo the instance.

I don’t know. I play quite some keys with my premade and we have multiple times per week someone is lagging or has a crashed game. The player obviously comes back online though.

Funniest run I ever had with a lagged out player was in Spires of Ascension. Ofc it was the tank but his bear moved around the dungeon like

Half the time his body appeared with the mob behind him. Some times he’d just be running on the spot or stop moving all together. It was a miracle we made it through but my friend and I could not stop laughing even thought it was our key. Everyone stayed to the end and I honestly can’t remember if we timed it or not.

Why should they get punished when they have no idea as no set times for outage’s you seem to lack empathy and want to punish everyone.

offline and leaving the group aren’t the same thing tho . %95 of what i’ve seen was people leaving the group. if my internet connection isn’t stable or there’s a known outage in power then i shouldn’t queue for keys that’s not other players’ problem. gameplay requires stable connection and when i have issues with my internet i just don’t do that activity , it’s that easy.

wow is the only game where you don’t get a punishment for ruining other players’ gameplay in group content , that’s not normal

What about in situations where the keyholder is the leaver? That’s like me accidentally inviting a bunch of losers to my house for a party then not being able to kick them out. No thanks.
