Adding jobs to wow

  • Evoker : mail person
fly and deliver mail to people across Azeroth

  • Death knight : Crypt keeper
provide funeral events and services and keep the graveyards safe

  • Gnomes / Goblins : Mechanic
fix various machinery and provide experimental new technology

The ones for Gnomes / Goblin (Mechanic) could be a job for enginners who has that as profession.

But why though? Like I am sorry but you ask for class/fantasy spesific jobs/quests right?

They reward Dubloons… What for? It better be some amazing class fantasy transmogs…

We are already getting something similar…

points at Hero Talents in TWW

I agree with that. Just make them like any other quest and reward whatever they do. And if the job happens to create something that might be useful for others, allow us to sell it on the AH for gold.

I imagine that Doubloons allows you to purchase Battle pets, Mounts, Toys and of course transmog that somewhat relates to the Job or the class.

Nobodys gonna care about jobs for that.

Like why.

Character class jobs to earn battle pets and mounts? And toys?..

First off half the toys youd get you wouldn’t be allowed to use outside of a spesific zone or area knowing blizzard right… Of course with a 1 hour cooldown.

Mounts? They look random and weird as hell. But sure… somebody would be into it i guess.

If player housing ever becomes a thing, I can see furnitures to be purchasable with Doubloons.

Still though… How would you tie Class fantasy jobs. Too Mount collecting and pet collecting. Like those two don’t match.

You do an epic class race adventure. And get rewarded with a pet that looks like a pokemon.

if Blizzard ever wanted to revive the population in WoW
they need to look outside the box for suggestions like these

  • jobs
  • player housing

anything other than the normal PVE / PVP

Yeah just screw wows last integrity right? Lets turn Azeroth into Cyberpunk 2077 while at it xD

I am not against that. Just saying.

that was gone years ago with implementing WoW tokens
and " 6-12 month subs for mounts and Fomo gear "

Mail a person? That’s a personal wyvern!
[scoffs]
I’m no… oh … ohhhh mail … like packages and documents and the likes.
Sure, yea that could be fun.

Alright so this is awesome, baseline.

I would have some improvement ideas though. Namely the following:

She’s got a point but what if we did both with this, like I would suggest instead of making you class locked to one job, make every class be able to accept a few jobs like the following examples.

  • Bouncer : Warr, Hunt, Monk

  • Holy Crusade : Paladin, Priest, DK (hot take but it is kinda their job in lore)

  • Tracker : Hunt, Druid, Dh

  • Spy : Rogue, Druid, Hunt

  • Exorcist : Priest, Pala, Monk

  • Geologist : Shaman, Hunt, Evoker

  • Mentor : Mage, Warlock, Monk

  • Sensei : Monk, Dh, Warr

  • Nature’s Guardian : Druid, Shaman, Monk

Obviously these are up for debate but just to show that you could allow some choice cause more options are always good and some specs could still feel like their spec, obviously I wouldn’t let everyone be everything because some things simply wouldn’t make sense.

Unless.

You made every job have like a trial run and it would be a genuine challenge to get “hired” so although everyone could pick up the quest you would have to prove you are able to do it, without causing too many weird situations, like I think mage would make an awesome spy in addition to the other specs I’ve named. Point is another option would be to let the players try and see which one they like/can do the best.

But in general I agree with this statement.

Also

It’s last integrity died when your race joined the game, ever since then it’s been going down hill, ironic coincidence.

But in truth I couldn’t care less, a change doesn’t mean a kill or death, change is good and important, otherwise you would keep the intergrity but lose the game you love, if you truly love it you want to see it thrive, how we do this is up to our own ideas, so we can all have a plan.

Important to remember is we all want the best for the game.

It died with the Vulpera being added? Please tell me more. How and why did the Vulpera kill the integrity of the WoW lore?

Not to be an jerk… But what do you guys want then?

I would prefer a HERESY ERASER job. A sort of Inquisitor acting with no balance or pity.

I imagine that they will be like that towards cultists who twists the light and use it for evil doings, I imagine that the paladin will show judgement towards them, but for petty crimes like thievery etc I imagine that the paladin will show more compassion
