I agree with that. Just make them like any other quest and reward whatever they do. And if the job happens to create something that might be useful for others, allow us to sell it on the AH for gold.
Character class jobs to earn battle pets and mounts? And toys?..
First off half the toys youd get you wouldn’t be allowed to use outside of a spesific zone or area knowing blizzard right… Of course with a 1 hour cooldown.
Mounts? They look random and weird as hell. But sure… somebody would be into it i guess.
I would have some improvement ideas though. Namely the following:
She’s got a point but what if we did both with this, like I would suggest instead of making you class locked to one job, make every class be able to accept a few jobs like the following examples.
Bouncer : Warr, Hunt, Monk
Holy Crusade : Paladin, Priest, DK (hot take but it is kinda their job in lore)
Tracker : Hunt, Druid, Dh
Spy : Rogue, Druid, Hunt
Exorcist : Priest, Pala, Monk
Geologist : Shaman, Hunt, Evoker
Mentor : Mage, Warlock, Monk
Sensei : Monk, Dh, Warr
Nature’s Guardian : Druid, Shaman, Monk
Obviously these are up for debate but just to show that you could allow some choice cause more options are always good and some specs could still feel like their spec, obviously I wouldn’t let everyone be everything because some things simply wouldn’t make sense.
Unless.
You made every job have like a trial run and it would be a genuine challenge to get “hired” so although everyone could pick up the quest you would have to prove you are able to do it, without causing too many weird situations, like I think mage would make an awesome spy in addition to the other specs I’ve named. Point is another option would be to let the players try and see which one they like/can do the best.
But in general I agree with this statement.
Also
It’s last integrity died when your race joined the game, ever since then it’s been going down hill, ironic coincidence.
But in truth I couldn’t care less, a change doesn’t mean a kill or death, change is good and important, otherwise you would keep the intergrity but lose the game you love, if you truly love it you want to see it thrive, how we do this is up to our own ideas, so we can all have a plan.
Important to remember is we all want the best for the game.
I imagine that they will be like that towards cultists who twists the light and use it for evil doings, I imagine that the paladin will show judgement towards them, but for petty crimes like thievery etc I imagine that the paladin will show more compassion
