It doesn’t matter how someone is playing. Just calling them a monkey is never okay.
It gives them 0 feedback to what even went wrong. If anything getting insulted makes people play worse. Or everyone gets into a fight in chat and everyone plays worse.
There’s just zero reason to type anything at all, if all you type is an insult.
“stop doing x,y c etc etc u play like a monkey” i think thats fair toxic but fair if u are in a 15 or higher u should know 95% of the mechanics
That’s exactly what I meant. It’s just disgusting how people think this is normal or “fair”.
where im from and grew up thats normal stuff and words we cannot say anymore for fair reasons ofc was extremly common not my fautl ppl are snowflakes
Maybe I’m just a snowflake then, but where I’m from it’s not normal. I don’t go around in real life and just call people names if they do something wrong. Neither do I talk to friends online like that. So why would I do with pugs?
Is it fair that boosted Andies waste peoples time and don’t even listen to advice and help?
If you take the advice good, no biggie.
If you don’t stop the same fails, especially, core mechanics.
You should get flamed.
u do u but dont tell others what they cant and can do
You don’t talk with your friends like that?
In what safe space world do you live?
…Sweden?
That’s not what he’s saying. He’s saying that feedback should be constructive.
I agree with that.
You wanna know what happened? okay? I was doing +9 Tazavesh, Soleah’s Gambit (a +9, people were discussing about +15, I was doing +9). The last boss has a mechanic where we have to stand behind stars if we are targeted by hyperlight jolt in accordance with the direction provided by arrows under (arrows seen on the floor). I was going behind a star but I over-anticipated the direction of my soulshape blink and landed right on the star instead. By that time, the jolt struck, there was group-wide damage and after a few secs, we wiped. A priest said : “You are supposed to stand behind the star” to which I replied “my bad” and explained the whole thing as explained here. Then there was this druid dps (Balance) that said “Why do you people even play this game”? And this one of several instances where I heard players commenting on my decision to play a game based on a mistake I made or others make. On the same dungeon, ppl couldn’t properly cc the murlocs when they were fearing away bringing more as a result. The same druid shouted “noob tank” coz he was under the impression that the tank mass pulled. I didn’t describe the incident because I thought that would make the OP too long to read but here we go.
Ok, there you go, Bring on your “feedback”
cant be constructive with little to no context
I wasn’t talking about the OP, I was talking to someone else.
Maybe you give advice. In the majority of the cases I see people just want to hurt the other person and there’s nothing constructive about it.
The problem is that it just makes for a toxic environment. If people think it’s okay to just insult people you might be next.
I know most mechanics and what to do. Yet I still fail from time to time. Sometimes you just have a bad day. And I don’t know about you, but I definetly don’t play better after being called a monkey or a disabled person.
Htfu would be mine.
Not saying I agree with what he said but wow, grow a thicker skin or make proper friends.
lil cry baby
what the panda said though i disagree and it isnt cyber bullying
People joining keys without knowing stuff is ToxIc too.
Not being able to say “sry my bad” after you fail and keep wiping the group because you just want to get carried is toxic too.
Yes there are enough People that are mean to people without reason.
But there are enough idiots running around, stubborn and wasting peoples time.
It’s not one sided.
Btw are you German and don’t
talk with your friends…?
People in most cases don’t take it to heart when you give them advice and just do their own thing either way.
Case in point;
He just stands still to type that after I bop him when he got aggro and he dies to magic aoe damage that he could have avoided if he didn’t stand still to type that.
I can’t even.
You get a message from an addon and your instinct is to just stand still for like 4 seconds to respond to an obviously addon message and then die to magic damage aoes because you stood still?
Like, what does that even mean “im not pala”? Did he think I was asking him for a bop rather than the addon telling him he got bop or what’s up with that. That’s the only thing he said for the whole run.
