So, I have a vague memory that there once existed an addon that would show you ALL unexplored areas on the map. Not only the ones you needed to reveal the zone (i.e. to remove the “fog-of-war”), but also the ones that would only give you experience points (like, certain caves would have you to discover it, but it didn’t necessarily “reveal” itself on the map, but rather, you’d only get experience points for exploring it).
A good example of this is in Tirisfal Glades, The North Coast. You can explore it and gain experience points for doing so, but it doesn’t revel anything on the map. Or the North Tide’s Run in Silverpine Forest that does the same thing.
Does anyone know of any addon that shows unexplored areas like this? Would be grateful for any answers!
Good addon, but it seems to only show “fog-of-war” unrevealed areas. I.e. the areas you need to explore to reveal the zone on the map.
I’m looking for an addon that shows both the above, and areas that are trivial for exploration. So called “hidden spots”, if you will. Areas that essentially only give you experience points and that won’t reveal anything on the map.
After installing ELVui yesterday i did notice a change on my map.
Some zones were marked as purple which i hadn’t visited yet BUT it might also mean those zones weren’t accessible.
I didn’t really look into it.
Maybe someone else here can confirm it.
