Addons not working, due to outdated MacOS?

Hello everyone,

I’ve just started WoW Classic Hardcore and i wanted to install some addons. I’m not the best at this, but i think i did it correctly, because it’s so easy lol. My issue is that the addons won’t show up on the character screen. I’m playing on a MacOS Mojave 10.14.6, and the game gives me a warning due to outdated system when i start up the game.

It says:

“This is a reminder that macOS 10.14.6 has entered the end of life stage as an operating system for World of Warcraft. The game will continue to run for a limited time, however we encourage you to upgrade your operating system to macOS 12.2 as soon as possible. Please refer to the system requirements X. For more information on how to upgrade your operating system, please see this X For further explanation of our Macintosh operating system guidelines, please see this X.”

I can’t update my system because it’s too old and lacks space, do i have to play without addons then? Or am i missing something.

Thanks

It means that eventually WoW will not run on your PC because it doesn’t meet the minimum specs.

It has nothing to do with addons, as for that, I recommend using an addon client to automatically unpack at the correct maps like Curseforge so you won’t run into problems like putting it in the wrong maps and so on.

I think you may have put your addons in the wrong location.

You could try removing stuff you never use to free up space.
