None that I know of, but there are the Sunreavers, you should check them out.

I think they also accept hunters.

Jokes aside, I’ve met a lot of very bitter blood elf players - for a number of years, I was one of those players. There’s no smoke without fire, so it’s probably fair to say there’s some legitimate reason for a lot of it.
I don’t necessarily disagree with everything I used to be bitter about now, I just don’t see the point in exerting any energy on being bitter when there’s more interesting things to do.
I think a distinct lack of background info, and especially a lack of progression since the BC era, is part of the problem. Its not unique to Belves, of course, but I think its understandable for a race thats been quite a key part of WC lore since the early days of WC2.
That massive gap then leads to having to ‘make do and mend’, which leads onto a heap of other problems already covered ad infinitum in this and other threads.
What I meant with my previous statement is that I’ve had encounters with RPers trying to instigate drama in my OOC life. This includes spreading rumors, tarnishing my characters, coming between me and a partner at the time, seek to stalk me and obtain real images of me. Not all of them were near strangers either. Some I’ve known for years.
My problem with blood elf RP is actually how much I struggle to balance being a relatively nice person IC, while also managing to keep the blood elf out-of-touch-ness in my character. I think I’m getting better, but it’s definitely something I’ve got to work on.
Well, I was not talking about the mobs, they were not even given a thought as I focused on the the design and aesthetic only - the mobs are an annoying wasp who keep pestering you, a shame really they can not be zoned out once the campaign are done and the city are free.
I’ve gone for an ‘approachable but will probably offend someone when left talking for too long’ approach (unintentionally offensive due to ignorance of others races and customs)
I.E. on a recent event Pandaria was visited and my character saw huts on poles on a beach, which reminded him of Murloc huts on beaches, only these huts were more like raised houses
So obviously my character instantly assumed the Jinyu lived there
It’s an example of how to be that while also not always being standoffish with non belves
Those blood elf npcs in Dazar’alor who are no doubt a reference to some vapid streamers are a reflection of the average blood elf rper. If people did the exact opposite then it might be all right
Spits on the ground…
“Elves…”
Which NPCs do you mean and what’s wrong with them?
There is two NPC at the pyramid. Two Blood Elves taking a selfie. Saying the Pyramid looks ‘so primitive’ and ‘all our friends at Silvermoon will be jealous’.
Making them… Ridiculous. With of course the selfie-cane.
Noticed them today for the first time. Blizzard just doesn’t know when to stop.
I mean blizzard made a joke out of alluded rape via aethas being kidnapped by a harpy and a banshee. What do you expect lol.
it’s fine because it happens to a man
Even though those elves are ridiculous it’s true azar’dalor is ridiculous. Absolutely primitive
The blood elves.
Now, the joke is really that people in real life act like that, silly as it is but it’s true so in stead of looking down at belfs perhaps one could laugh over the reference’s that keep this game amusing
the point is that a lot of blood elf rpers behave like that rather than the dignified yet ruthless race they are
In all fairness I have not seen many that actually do. yes, a few silly movements here and there, perhaps a character every once in a while but not constantly or in crowds. Every character have their moment of seriousness and not. While, it sucks in my opinion to be all serious and ruthless, real life is filled with a lot of that already so it’s not my cup of tea to play such a character regardless of their race.
