With trinkets like we forced use now (nymue and sun) and without S3 tier set affli just will be unplayeble in situation with 2+ targets or if u got any mechanic on you during burst, so it’s easy to understand what is the only good option here
Season 2 and Season 3 tiers are forcing us to play around 1 damn build which makes it hella cringe though. Our talent tree is already a living nightmare, and season 3 bonus is just good on AOE, since the Soul Rot bonuses stack better on AOE…
Giving us dumb use on single-target yet again. We need a good mix for M+ content, which most will be playing in season 4.
I considered this myself, but realized that I much rather use vile taint in all situations, since there are very few PVE bosses where you otherwise wouldnt make use of vile taint. Phantom singularity would thus only be picked for a few bosses.
I.e. Vile taint feels like a must have for any boss with even a small amount of adds. For this reason i prefer the S3 where it synergizes with soul rot.
However, I think the most important reason for the S3 set is due to the dot timer extension that it enables… this is something id rather see more off than reduced CDs
Affli was totally undernumbered in start of season 3 by blizzard, so it was one of the worst specs by dmg in start of the season, everyone except blizzard knew about this before season starts. Everyone who wanna be usefull just start on demo because it was stronger and easier and got gear for it, affli have another stat priority. And now demo still both stronger and easier, so everyone who is not aff fun keep playing demo. Its not about tier set design, its about numbers and balance
Je vote pour le set de la saison 3 , ce qui reste le plus viable avec la pourriture d’âme et 3 grosses extases maléfiques qui suivent justes après, le set de la S1 etait bien mais nul , la s2 est le pire set du jeu jamais créer, qu’est-ce qu’ont s’en fiche d’voir une singularités 6 sec en moins , c’est juste nul et deplus les dégâts sont pitoyables. Donc je vote pour que le set de la saison 3 reste en saison 4.
