It is a normal sight to see 5-10 boters each game at night in Alterac Valley, This needs to be dealt with as every week it ruins it for those of actually puting effort into the ranking system.
Last week one of the Alterac Valley bots got a standing 7ish on our realm.
On a private server this would have bin dealt with within hours.
Yes, because of horde defending and games lasts 40+ mins.
PvE players who only need exalted are totally not interested in midfield “fighting”.
Soon horde ques will be 1h+, when majority of alliance PvE players will get exalted and quit AV forever. Like me.
Actiblizz must start to ban ppl soon, like this is ridicolous, if a private reopen ill give it a try this time… they want classic to fail bad, now its clear.
Who says they are bots? U can afk and Jump to be afk
These are generally players who are Afking. It does suck but it isn’t going to affect your rank because other players on your realm will also have to put up with AFKers in AV.
If you want to win games then join a pre made then AFK players matter much less.
I have noticed that from midnight onwards though its very hard to get a win as Alliance as you do get more people doing it… I think it has a knock on effect as people will see 5-10 players afking and then decide to not bother playing themselves and will do the same thing.
This happens om horde aswell btw.

afkers are taking over and theres nothing you can do about it, they outnumber you and it’s impossible to get enough people to report them afk

His post stated that it is ruining his ability to rank. I merely stated that every other Alliance player also has to deal with this which puts him on equal footing with every other player (other than pre mades which is why I suggested he join one.)

It still does affect his ranking, less honor is less honor for his effort, added to this, if he as a pug, which you would assume, since there are a bunch of afkers, the premades are getting more honor than he is, this would still be the case if puggers didnt afk as well, but it wouldn’t be that much(unless premade sucks).

I’m not justifying afking in AV. How about you actually learn to read. He would get less honor p/h than compared to playing in a pre made and he will get the same p/h on average as every other Alliance player that pugs and every pug has to put up with AFK players.

Explain to me how it effects his ranking? Please do try to explain how he is competiting against pre mades? He isn’t. Any pre made is going to be getting far more honor p/h than a player playing solo. Thus he isn’t really competiting with those players as there is no way he can compete with their honor gain. Which leaves him competiting against other solo queuers who all face the exact same problem.

Something should be implemented so you have to do a minimum amount of damage or healing to receive honor to stop people afking. But you know the #no changes crowd will be crying. Its because of no changes the whole system gets abused.
