With 10 or more of those, they determine the outcome of the BG.
They have been reported for weeks if not months, by many many people. You know who they are.
10 people in each? I grinding rank since weeks and i have never see more than 2/3 afk/bot in a BG (Always the same…)
For hiding people its pretty common in 40mn 0 fun turtle (except hunter/caster pov maybe).
The number has been rising faster the last 2 weeks.
They are quite easy to spot on the map. Standing in the same spot all BG where there is absolutely nothing to defend or attack, like under abandoned buildungs or under a group of trees.
We had this same situation around 10 years ago where the number of afkers determined the outcome of the BGs.
Back then it was the reason for me to stop pvp and shortly after quit the game for several years.
We are all literaly serving the bots on a silver plate to Blizzard and still they don’t take any action.
It’s a disgrace for a game with monthly fee.
They need to make report afk kick the person instantly instead of giving the stupid debuff where they can just go attack an npc to remove it
Auto banning people who have enough reports, resetting their rank to zero and removing their pvp armour is warranted too

Pf / Pr - Ashbringer: Absolute God who ranked not one but TWO chars to rank 14 without playing a single game, only AFK
Anúlú - horde rogue: Botted all the way up to rank 13 I believe he might get his 14 this week.
2 players well known for their cheating, talked about and reported by players almost every game, still able to do this without a single consequence. As if rank 14 wasn’t devauled enough already you’ve know got people getting it while afk lol.
they will never ban anyone, its better to allow someone to bot r14 and keep playing (and paying a sub) than ban them and lose a customer
This is the exact reason why I quit at rank 11. They are doing what you have pointed AND getting away with it.
