Maybe unusual, if you got used to WM being toggle-able on and off at any time.
Big warning for Accidents, then show WM button with CD on it. An since you can abandon quest to enable it back again - there is no problem.
The only problem - it that it’s could be a harsh and forced way for some players.
The base idea is very good. But way to many complications and that reset + calculating time only since quest pick up - that how bad accidents and follow up complains happen.
Plus, if player has WM on, but spends these two days in a Raid / M+ / instances, without stepping out into the open world much - should it be counted as time with WM on? I think not.
But the idea on getting a reward ilvl based on time spent in WM is really good.
Maybe it could be done like:
- Bar around WM button, that has for example 20 hours = 100% max on it.
- All the time that player spends in WM in open world locations (of current content), that are no instances or sanctuaries, is counted towards this bar.
- On reset day progress on this bar is counted towards this week quest reward, and bar gets reset. This part of the idea is something similar to M+ chest - bigger you did = better reward you can get.
- bellow 50% = no quest
- 50% - 70% for lowest ilvl item
- 70% - 90% for ilvl upgrade
- 90% - 100% for best ilvl item
So this system has a bar as a clear indication of progress, it won’t limit players if they need to turn if off (for summons for example), and it gives quest and reward based on what player already did / invested / put effort in.
Haha, yeah, those Arcane Missles were a way to say hello
Your team was probably hungry and focused on those veggies so much that you forgot that you can kill your opponents and take theirs.
