AH addon help?

Hello felas, first of all i know thers a lot of drama about AH addons, selling piece by piece instead of stack, and so… I dont want that and i dont support that.
But i need an addon that shows me items im looking for from lower to higher prices, in real value, instead of just showing me 1 piece as cheapest because thers only 1 piece… I dont need addon that buys for me from ah, or split my stacks to make “better value” i just need something that is working on classic patch, not hard to configure, and works fine, thanks.

This is the most bare bones AH addon I could find, still has too many features I think, but you can just not use them.

If you use the “Buy” tab and search it will categorize each result, so searching for “Silkcloth” in Tradegoods will show bolt of silkcloth and silkcloth as two seperate things and you can then open either and check the prices ( sorted by buy out )

Auctionator is very simple and effective AH addon that helps you buy exactly what you need and as much as you need for the cheapest price. However it doesn’t come with a bid function, which is a shame.

I’ve got AUX loaded up and I’m happy with it, it does seem to take it a while to search through and I’ve not quite mastered the search filters yet, i mainly use it for posting items. You can however switch to the normal Blizz AH interface which I find helpful at times.

I did try another, I think it was Auctioneer, and found it far too complicated and the font size for the prices too small, which seemed to be the one bit of texted that I couldn’t increase the font size on.

If you only want to sort and don’t need all the other functions, you can just use this macro:

/run SortAuctionItems("list", "unitprice")

Open AH window, press this macro once and then your searches will be sorted appropriately.

Having used this for a while myself, I can unfortunately say that it is very prone to failure.

I’ve tried several times using it to sort things correctly, then went into the auctionator interface and done a separate search, only to notice the macro didn’t sort things correctly, while the addon did.

Thanks guys for replies, ill try auctionator and see what it does

If you’re doing it correctly, it works. You need to press it once and then do the search. And don’t press it anymore.

Exactly what I’m doing, and it works about half the time.

keep in mind that auctionator is not officialy ported to classic. it has a fix that can run in classic but has no support.

you can try this one also. i use that 2 days now and it seem ok. and you can bid also.

stop with the random spaces already use the code button for links </>

like a so; https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/auctionfaster

or 4 spaces

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/auctionfaster

it’s anoying trying to figure out exactly where people put spaces, doing it like this gives you a nice copy/pasta link

hahaha

i can’t send links. my account has no privilege to send links. do you think that i like spaces?

Nor can I hence I mention how to circumvent it by using the code tag (button look like </> )

so you dont need to use spaces…

Is there an addon that tells you how much an item from your inventory is selling on the AH ? Just information wise, so I know when I vendor stuff without actually going to the city to check the AH

Cheers

I use a macro to list all the items in best price per unit. So it doesn’t matter if they are in a stack of 1 or 200, it will always give me a list in the order of the best price

/run SortAuctionItems("list", "unitprice")

Every AH addons does this, but the information is only accurate as of your last scan.
