Why we killed him in first place? Just because some dwarf told us do so? Dwarfs want kill everything anyway and Algalon is neutral and says that hes not here to fight with us?
?? what is this question? he explained to you what he is going to do and you fight him because of his explanation
no wonder people don’t understand the lore of this game when they can’t even read the LINES that characters in game are saying
Because he looked at mah bird…
You mean neutral while running a scanner and deciding that we were too corrupted to be left alive, thus preparing to launch an exterminatus that would’ve made the God emperor proud ?
Yep he says clearly that he is scanning corruption level… And is not there for fight with us. Only who says anything about slaying him is some dwarf. And they wanna kill everything anyway
The thing is that apparently he scanned enough corruption to trigger the Reorigination process. That would wipe out all the life on Azeroth, meaning our characters, every person in the game, women and children included, animals, plants etc. would be destroyed.
The forge of Reorigination was already used once by the Tol’vir in Uldum when Lei Shen, the Thunder King, sought to seize control of it. They made it so that it would trigger only on Uldum, and what it caused was remaking the life-filled land into a desert.
Our characters were simply fighting for the lives of them and every other being on the planet.
Besides, if I remember correctly, we didn’t even kill him, rather defeat him.
Also it is worth mentioning that it was the corrupted titan keeper Loken who called in Algalon, so much of the data he received may have not been exactly true either.
we didn’t even killed him we were basically dueling him for chance to survive another day
and it doesn’t matter if dwarf or gnome or night elf or human would say go and fight
everyone with healthy brain (of course in game) would go fight him
because he came to basically DELETE life from our planet
This just started annoy me after doing old raids. Kinda would have been interest see what would have happened if we were just let him finish his work and not fight with him. We ended send that message anyway even results might not have been complete.
Defeating & killing are NOT always the same; we interrupted him sending the Re-origination signal.
Algalon was effectively a machine doing a job it was programmed to do; we fought back showing it a side of the equation that its’ creator never had any intention of showing it.
I am pretty sure we didn’t kill him…
He’s not there to fight with us.
He’s just there to re-originate the planet - destroy and re-make it.
He has nothing against US.
It’s not personal; it’s just business.
We didn’t. After giving us the signal to countermand the order, he resumed his watch, and took up pet battling!
We never killed Algalon, infact we never stood a chance at that time, he basicaly changed his mind on us- Mortals during the encounter. And yes he said he is not here to figh us, but ofc he is gonna defend himself when some 25 heavily armed people start to atack him. And i think he was holding back a lot of his power during that encounter. First time we actualy killed Constellar being was During argus encounter- and at that time we had strongest weapons in the universe+support of the titans. Harbaron is questionable one, seems like fallen/heavily weakened constellar.
You do realize that if we had not fought him and let him do his thing the planet would have been re-originated right ? The only reason he spares us is because we fought him and saw that the denizens of Azeroth (and thousands of other worlds) have a right to live even though they are/were corrupted.
Well after we end this mess where we are now in azeroth would it really been that bad to just let him finish his job? And since we didn’t kill him and he clearly stayed close and keep watching could we perhaps ask him to just finish his job.
It’s not personal, it’s just business afterall
Interesting question.
And apparently, next patch, we go on to stop Thanos, er, The Jailer, from re-originating the Universe. Why? Maybe he would have written a better storyline for the next iteration!
So you actually do want all living life to be wiped out on Azeroth ?
Well yes or better re-orgqnize it like he sayed. Its the onlyway out of this mess. Let fire and blood rain and just wipe it and start over. Then we can get actual chance to get people back to azeroth. New azeroth for everyone
What do you mean by people ? Players or races ?
its explained every min in old dalaran
CITIZEN OF DALARAN! Raise your eyes to the skies and observe! Today our world’s destruction has been averted in defiance of our very makers!
Algalon the Observer, herald of the titans, has been defeated by our brave comrades in the depths of the titan city of Ulduar.
Algalon was sent here to judge the fate of our world. He found a planet whose races had deviated from the titans’ blueprints. A planet where not everything had gone according to plan.
Cold logic deemed our world not worth saving. Cold logic, however, does not account for the power of free will. It’s up to each of us to prove this is a world worth saving. That our lives… our lives are worth living.
