So there is a lot of things that is not listed in Classic era changes, like A LOT.
-ZG boost has been changed, blizzard removed the reset points, boosters now have to develope a new way to do this boost.
-No longer can mount on a boat. Yes you heard correctly, you can no longer remain mounted on a boat. (as mentioned in comments, this is a bugfix)
-UI changes, a lot of UI changes, it’s almost not toleratable, it also reset some features as well as removing all addons even for Classic era (not only sod was affected)
Rarely I would yell this, but… Blizzard… No changes to Classic Era servers, I really consider finding a private server at this point, removing all the fun of the game in a go. Earlier blizzard removed log out skips, HUGE time savers for players who do not like to spend hours running out and in again even if they are not boosted.
Why not just redeem my paladin that is now stuck in Cataclysm back to classic era as Cata is a failed expansion? There is a lot of annoying things happening now and I just don’t feel the need to subscribe again.
Why can’t blizzard just let the game be as it is? Why all the changes all the time when #NoChanges? Really not satisfied.

A new thing I noticed that was a problem even in retail. Camera slightly turn to one of the sides while walking. Character goes straight, but camera remain slightly on one of the sides.
Most likely I will quit the game dude. ZG Boost was my main income for raid, now I gotta compete against bots in the field for mining/herbs. Or go GDKP. I was not even boosting players in ZG unless it was a friend as I earned most of the gold from the loot in there. As I said, players will always find a way to do the boost.
Sure, it’s the classic spirit with the boat, but that’s about it.
UI is horrible, when you char is walking it’s always around 30 degree off camera angle. Nothing a “pillow” can fix there. They gotta fix this issue.
You just cancel yourself sentence after sentence. Conclusion, good change you will find a way to keep boosting. So blizzard got to improve its methods to combat it even more so there is no way left. Also they gotta combat gdkp too so you wont go there, and ofc they gotta combat bots. But sadly even if you see the negative on all that instead of welcoming those changes you become part of the problem and complain against them. Dont worry all will be alright you wont quit and you will keep having even more fun than before. And please ppl when you are about to make a post about “I quit coz yada-yada-yada” please dont… spare us from the drama, if you are a person of ur word just do what you intend to…
Nothing change the fact, they change classic. I do not cancel myself sentence after sentence, I am actually quitting, I will make sure blizzard know I quit and why as they always write in tickets. “Go to forum” So I do. I did the boost run, without players, it still gave a player either reputation, xp or some kind of item, a reward- Boost.
Yes, they will find a way, but I wont bother learning new path everytime blizzard want to change the game.
I will not bother about paying monthly fee, then go to a gold buyingwebsite/GDKP/farm against bots or whatever the case to be able to raid. The bots also make the marked cheaper, they have a good and bad side, but does not change the fact, me as the player dont have any income in this game anymore. I’ve not played for almost a week now and that wont change. This game is dying because of changes.
And if you dont like what I write, then dont bother writing at all, I will complain as it’s my right, this drama as you call it, is something you read, that is your choice. If you want to join the discussion, then feel free, just dont expect a drama free experience.
I want to see the tard who made “/who” menu UI change and the one who made it pass. You cannot even sort there now. Why? Reason? Purpose?
Considering the previous change to report bots remotely and this one, it feels like someone in dev team either actively botting himself or helping his botter friend to get less heat.
For me it’s more like ~ changes to PvP: … hmm whatever, as long as I’m not forced into PvP by them.
Changes to UI or mechanics in PvE: DON’T TOUCH MY GAME!!!
I know the old adage about also complaining for the changes bothering others, but as I do not konow enough to complain coherently I simply throw a “like” to the complainers now and then.
Blizzard fixed certain things and made changes to UI. This had impact on Addons, now some players mad. And basically OP said “I quit Era because I can no longer mount on boat and use glitches in SM”.
But a huge change such as PvP brackets for R14 simplicity last year didn’t bother him to play.
I quit because of no Wrath Era and the new UI. Not because it was hampering my addons - I do not use any - but because it was visual changes, bothering me every.single.time I played. I still for instance notice that the boats come too close, and ‘shave off’ bits of the pier, every time, that opening your map does not close your bags, every darned time!
Not mounting on boats is a bug fix, which makes me very happy, as visuals are my great bother. If OP cannot remember this from Vanilla it’s on him.
Glitches are what they are, but as we were promised no changes in Era, iI feel they should stay.
Still I won’t have an opinion on the PvP changes, as I simply do not understand enough of the system, and do not care enough for PvP to sit myself down and find out what it’s all about - my kneejerk reaction is of course: Don’t change it!
If they could turn back all the UI changes - and I man ALL of them! Also fix the casting etc. animations, remove carets and FP markers from minimaps and fix frame rates in or near water, and then just scam, I would play on Era happily ever after.

I dont give a damn about mounting on a boat you silly goose. I quit because they removed my income. If you actually read the comments, you would know.

They attacking the boost wrong in my opinion as they change classic, they could rather ban people from using the word boost in chat, like “spam WTS+Boost 3 times = Chatban” kinda scenario, not make it impossible to do the boost.
