Not to mention WOTLK where if you don’t play Human, you are screwed.
Meanwhile, I have a warstomp that get pushback every single time.
Has a counter, unless it is human rogue. Wait out 20sec on opener or aggressive sap human none rogue. Can be replaced with potion or warlock paranoia. Works only vs 2 classes. 6/10
10% armor does nothing for cloth user, that most dwarves on arena are. Poisons and Curses can be remover by other classes or even consumables. 8sec Immunity part is good though. Still can die in stunlock without even using desperate 8/10
Only if the break distance enoght for combat to drop. This isn’t Wrath version of this racial. Weak stealth rank, anyone can spot NE sitting in shadowmelt. 4/10
Single use only, no immunity. Big CD. Druid can reroot Gnome after that. Someone said it can even be resisted by enemy spell and fail to unroot a Gnome. 5/10
I wonder what made Blizzard make such unbalance racial. Maybe it had something to do with OP Horde PvP racials?
Like 5sec Fear immunity that can be used while being feared. No high skill requirement, no counter play. Top race pick in PvP arena ladder. 11/10
Or 15% stun resistance that has no counter play as well on top of dps burst the Rd trinket that is also good in PvE. 10/10
Doesn’t guarantee, only increases your chances. Also, a counter to this is Orc which can resist 6x openers in a row.
Is great, but really tons of priest races get something about as useful. Plus only one race gets to use anti-poison, and it only accounts for 5.42% of people on teams.
? Can’t use in combat so not terribly useful for restealth, and as classes can restealth while out of combat…
Sure, useful but again more of a CD.
It wasn’t really the case in WOTLK with that, it became more of a bigger deal cata and on.
and yet, there are STILL more tauren than Nelves, Dwarves, Gnomes, or anything not human for Alliance.
27.72% of arena players for 3’s are Forsaken
15.98% Orc,
13.03% human,
11.34% Tauren.
So, you can see that 3 horde races represent a large portion of arena teams. You will see TONS of Forsaken in higher teams because Will of the Forsaken and then a free heal on kills for classes that can’t heal.
Orc stun resist, which has no CD is also very broken vs anything with a stun which is a LOT more classes than those that can stealth which Perception MAY or MAY NOT be useful for your original opener.
Meh. It has nothing on reworked Shadowmeld.
I would trade Shadowmeld for Warstomp any day of the week

It’s just selective perception.
You ALWAYS remember when a human prevents your opener or a Nightelf gets to eat and heal up while you are running around like headless chicken. Or that a dwarf prevented your poisons and bleeds to work, or a gnome gets out of that one crucial CC.
But that’s just because you only remember them when they are just that little thing to turn a win into a loss, and therefore they appear OP.
But worst of all: You never remember the times when an enemy Racial was completely useless.
Human racial? Useless unless a druid or rogue (or Nelf?) is even part of the equation. Useless against 7/9 classes!
Nightelf racial. Useless against anything that uses dots all the time or if you just can’t get away long enough to get out of combat. So even if your enemy doesn’t dot you, you can’t reliably use it.
Pretty much useless against 5/9 classes!
Dwarf racial.
Only useful if your enemy uses poison or bleed effects. Otherwise as significant as troll’s regeneration racial.
Useless against 6/9 classes
Gnome racial. Now this is actually a good one, but doesn’t give immunity, therefore despite many opportunities to even use it, it’s not always useful to do so. Frostmages just keep slowing and freezing you for example.
But at least just useless against 3/9 classes
Draenei racial… I’m not even going to bother. It most likely won’t even heal for the full amount before you’re dead. Better save those 1.5 secs of cast time for something useful.

Racials can’t be Overpowered? if there is no top tier enemy to use that racial against, & since there are thousand of warlocks/rogues? in arena teams which makes “will of the forsaken” & “Hardiness” seems to be useful & overpowered, if blizzard did nerf rogues & locks tomorrow? the result will be “cries about undead/orc racial being useless & need to be changed”
warlock : horde (its actually a tie cuz gnome/human lock is just as good but for fun lets say its horde)
druid : horde
shaman : horde
pala : horde i guess - ofc im only including ret because holy is even a bigger meme spec than ret
rogue : ally
mage : ally (cuz of rogue/priest being ally favored mostly, still gnome mage = op and just as good situational wise as any horde race)
war : ally
priest : ally
hunter: ally if playing with priest, horde if playing with rdru so tie
Given the fact that shamans and palas are garbage = ally racials beat horde racials , otherwise it would be pretty much a tie .
Reason ppl are crying over racials is cuz they are trash pvpers and need excuse for losing , or are sheep following some noob meta that is horde racials are better because they read it on a forum from the guy who is trash pvper and needed excuse for losing so they jump the bandwagon to feel better. In reality most of the clueless noobs here never even lost because of a racial as well but because they just arent good enough. Racials are super situational and only matter to ppl who know the pvp script (yes this is what arena is and will be till end of time) and execute it flawlessly.
Why ppl dont play alliance, because alliance is for peasants and gnomes , horde master race. Also because ppl like to be on same side as good players and stack on realms gives them more option with who to play.

One could say that racials in TBC are okay compared to wotlk where human racial was insanely better than any other racial in game and shadowmeld was also extremely good and useful compared to other racials (maybe not wotlk , cant remember).
A bad player with a good racial should always lose to a good player with a bad racial.

The bulk of PVP players going horde is a meta originated by on average better racials. Same as we suddenly see a lot of players ‘liking’ hunter and warlock in PvE. It is meta.

If ally crying over racials=flat earthers then horde saying ally racials are superior=antivaxxers.
