On the account that all Blood Elves are High Elves, in a sense yes we did have High Elves joining Silvermoon?
Thing is, we don’t really have a definition of what a High Elf is currently. We can go with a High Elf is a thalassian elf with blue eyes… but a Blood Elf is also a thalassian elf with blue eyes.
barbie look in the mirror : horde is 60% elf. roflmao
Blood elves are High elves.
High elves are High elves that didn’t wish to follow the new ways that Kael’thas introduced. Those high elves that accepted the new teachings redubbed themselves BLOOD ELVES in honor of the fallen.

I think it’s more a matter of factions not making much sense anymore rather than any one race making odd alliances.
But I’m not sure where you get the impression that they belong more to the Alliance from. The Night Elf camp you yourself mentioned features plenty of dialogue that suggests they weren’t getting along in the slightest. Night Elves also have a history of zealously exiling their magic users. The anti-arcane user sentiments comes back up in the form of Tyrande’s opposition against the Nightborne.
Begs the question.
Did the Sunreavers make use of the siphoning arcane from living creatures as well? They did live in Dalaran much like the Silver Covenant, and we know that the Silver Covenant sated their addiction by siphoning arcane from magical objects in Dalaran, Sunreavers probably did the same.
sorry they were a cool race so they go horde… Do you want mechadwarves next?

The Sunreavers weren’t part of Dalaran prior to Wrath, at which point the blood elves had no need to do such.
Why do you say that?
Many High Elves lived in Dalaran even after it’s destruction. Hell, Aethas Sunreaver and his compatriots even helped elevate the city and move it to Northrend.
Sure, the organisation ‘Sunreavers’ may not have existed prior to Wotlk. But it’s members did and lived in Dalaran and not in Silvermoon.
No you have mechagnomes next alliance will have mechadwarwes
That was still before the Wrath expanion, it was between the end of TBC and Wrath beginning.
Yes, High elves. Not the Blood elves.
Depending entirely on the timeline, not necessarily true. The High Elves were renamed to Blood Elves by Kael’thas prior to the events of WC3: The Frozen Throne.
So no, they would be Blood Elves.
But that’s the thing, not everyone did do that.
I mean, they were all Blood Elves for a time yes.
But indeedy, they threw it off again when they wanted to distance themselves from the others
But none are making use of the siphoning of magic from living creatures today anyway.
Only reason they did was due to the Sunwell being ruined.
Today you could see the High Elf and Blood Elf thing are now mainly ideological differences.

Do I care?
You guys are having stereotypes about Horde being a savage but yet we own 2 beautiful races Nightborne and Blood elves (soon highelves) and gorgeous cities Suramar and Silvermoon.
Which you Alliance were crying to own since the game was introduced.

I asked Loth’remar if I could call myself a High Elf again and he said yes, but wait for your blue eyes. And try not to antagonize the Alliance when you get them because we are not savages. Most of us, anyway.
