Hey I’ve been playing hardcore and I want to start classic pvp. How is the alliance side? Will I regret rolling a character there?
You may regret playing classic all together with the current state of inflation.
Really doesnt matter which faction you pick both are populated pretty evenly. Horde tend to win more games of AV which is basically a pve fest.
Queues are like <2min on Ally side idk about horde

PvE realm Thunderstrike is great on the Alliance side, busy and alive. You can even transfer your HC character there and continue your journey 
If u want to play warlock or spriest, horde will better. My alli warlock (3k5+ hp) has no chance against wotf with 5 sec immune and crits 1k+ from geared rogue. This wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t wotf
Transferring your HC character to PVE is a fate worse than death.

Playing on PvP for 20 years before admitting to yourself you actually despise and abhor wPvP is also terrible fate. I am trying to help others to realize they are “normal” players and should play on “normal” servers.

Plenty of world pvp as you level fun times.
See, I started playing in 2010 on a PVE server, and that environment was the most toxic and elitist I have ever experienced. It was like everyone had something to prove and people went to exceptional length to grief each other and then log over to the other faction and make fun of you.
Getting ganked by 3 rogues is nothing compared to that.
Best thing about PvE servers: not getting ganked by skulls and reds as you level.
Worst thing about PvE servers: bots everywhere; can’t transfer to PvP server to escape it.
Gotta say being able to gank bots is a huge upside on pvp server

Dont do it. Its a absolute mess. You will die 3 times everytime you want to go to brd. I played 2019 on a german server and pvp was fun. But this megaserver? Its absolute bullsht. There are people waiting before the jump, they will kill you once. There are people in front of mc kill you at least once, sometimes your unlucky and they kill you twice there. In front of the instance they wait too and will kill you again.
Its an absolute shtfest and i quit until they allow transfer from pvp to pve.
