It’s clear many players don’t have an issue with the system existing per se, we just don’t want to interact with these players. I think it is reasonable we can choose to not play with them.
The issue being is that if a player needs to use this, they probably don’t know mechanics. Won’t kick. Hit by every swirly.

People have been using 1 button macros in wow with an addon for years.

1 button macros aren’t the same thing at all, as people have told you in every other thread.
It’s a glorified cast sequence macro.

Some people have disabilities and need it to happen. Why shouldn’t they be allowed in groups?

There have been (and probably still are) players that manually click their abilites with a mouse button… For those players it might be a huge upgrade

Did you see the interview? The rotation incurs a pretty hefty GCD penalty, these types of people won’t be in keys that you frequent.

This seems like clutching at straws because you want an argument to me but I’ll bite.
The built in additional GCD on top of the internal cooldowns already means a one button player won’t top you on the charts unless you’re performing genuinely worse.
Is it your concern you’ll be outed?
Are you scared they’ll under perform themselves? Can almost guarantee you’ve played with them without knowing already - will continue to do so.
The biggest problem is your mentality - it comes off as elitist and you don’t even play at any semblance of high end content so what exactly is yours and others issues with this?
I’d rather make the game more approachable for others who simply haven’t had the chance so far or struggle, than continuing to stroke yours and others of the same mentalities epeens.

And those players aren’t (most of the time) engaging in high end content like M+. If they are they’d be weeded out quickly, and thus why OP want a system to automate it/prevent them from even joining high stress competitive game-modes (I think?) with the official “1 button” rotation nonesense.

i play almost exclusively tank but yeah sure lol.
My issue isn’t just performance, if they have perfect movement/mechanics etc i still have a problem.
It’s automation as i mentioned. They are 1 step from auto battlers.
