its always 50-50 - people like him either get fired or get promotion - while you will get even more work on you when he moves up or out

I’ve been semi retired since I was 23 and I have zero interest in promotions. I hate working.
I did a 7 week stretch of working 5 days per week maybe 4 to 6 years ago and I couldn’t believe how bad it was.

I can pick any arbitrary characteristic and choose not to play with them. Completely unjustified from your point of view.

This current reason IS justified in my opinion but it still doesn’t matter. If i have a single misgiving in this game i pay for…i will filter these players.
This exists in the game currently at a high level.

You don’t pay my sub, you don’t dictate to me. I will do what i want, same as every other player.
I just want the tools to filter them from my groups, i’m NOT worried about them. Just show me they use it and i can avoid them.
Not that I’m a hater of the feature but I get why people would want to filter the user out.
In the end all it would do is safe both sides time.
For example.
I make a group for a normal raid. The one button user applies and I look at his gear and that looks fine so I take him.
Now we try the first boss doesn’t matter of it falls or not.
At this point recount has outet the player since he will not so the DMG he could do when he uses the feature (wich is ok)
Now or atleast when we hit a boss that we don’t down cause something doesn’t die fast enough he gets kicked cause of his DMG and I need to fill his place.
All this could have been avoided.
And yes other players can not use the feature AND suck and playing there class but players using it decide to do less DMG then they could so why not stand to that decision and show it openly
The only thing justified here is that you don’t want to play with certain players. Everyone has their preferences. The weird/funny thing here, is that the only reason you scream about a spesific group now(and want a spesific filter for them), is because they get a tool to play the game more easily for them.
I used to an elitist don’t know what words are allowed here, and trust me, I know how annoying it is for you when a player not up to your standards end up in your group. I have seen some horrible gameplay over the years. These players are around you right now, but if you PuG higher level content, they aren’t going to infest your queue much, if any at all. Same goes for the one button functionality now. It sounds to me like these players won’t be touching the content you do, so stop being so extremely worried about them ruining your playtime. You don’t need a filter for them, because not all of them are gonna swap to one button anyways. How many filters do we need anyways? I’d love a filter against salty, sour, arrogant players. I am too old to listen to adults who spew anger out at anyone that doesn’t follow their book in a videogame. It’s so tiresome, but no, there is no filter for that. Best filter is don’t PuG, and that’s the only filter you need too.
Just get over your fears of some random players, or players with disabilities that uses the 1 button feature to get around the lower end of this game.
