Hello, so as dual spec is not an option and i like to heal at pve but not so much in pvp i have been thinking on making a druid alt, i know the class fairly good since it was my first character back in tbc to bfa as healer.
So i want a build that allows me to do damage at pvp (and if i can do some healing great) and heal at pve and im thinking on this build:
[Hotw personal made build] classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/druid/01-500232130321214-05501310501
1- i hear Hotw build can be great at pvp what you think of it?Can i do some serious damage and kills?
2-i want to have a spot at healing dongeons and raids, do you think i will? nothing to hardcore mostly pugs i think, ( i truly love to heal).
3- About that spec i see alot of variations between websites, would you put points in diferent talents? Main variation is between full points in Tranquil spirit or just 1 or 2 points there and 3 points in Improved rejuvenation
i choose this cuz in pve i like to be mana efficient and the improved rejuv is a static bonus that dont stack with healing power.
4- Is druid my only option for getting this kind of hybrid? If shaman is also an option is it as good as druid?
5- Do you think its worth starting fresh on a realm to get tauren racials(im alliance main)? so could use one more point in Hotw talent
Would love to hear your opinions about this subject
Hotw is anything but damage. I’d recommend you to go 30 0 21. Maximum damage output while also amazing at pve healing. Dps dungeons also works but isn’t great.
Don’t really think both playstyles mix together. You are missing too many Feral DPS talents to be able to compete and you wont have enough mana to power shift or to even be flexible with the forms without gimping yourself even more.
Like the other guys said, you missing LoTP, 10% melee damage from balance tree, no Omen of Clarity, missing improved shred, dont have full HoTW and to top it off no Natural Shapeshifter, which is pretty much needed as feral in PvP.
