Already hate the new UI

My problem with this new ui is that some CD graphical indication STILL disappears when you jump from instances to back into the world or vice versa!

FAIL!

I’m using the ui code someone posted to go back to make it look like the old one But keeps reseting back after logging out I have to press edit button so it goed back like it supposed to be everytime i log in

Honestly see no issues with it, you can really easily make it like the old with a few clicks.

I have downloaded Bartender and there is a Classic Preset which is good if you want Classic UI. This UI looks incomplete. No guidance. No presets. They should have created at least 5-10x different UIs in edit mode to show players how edit mode could provide better UIs than the old one. I believe they will upgrade it in future. Until then I will keep using Bartender

After playing with it for a bit and tweaking it just the way I want it, I really like it. I can finally remove the eyesore that was ElvUI, it makes my WoW faster as well. There are a couple of negatives that look like bugs (which could still be improved), like the resolution of the icons and macro text, pet portrait, map can’t be resized, xp bar can’t be moved, the uneven snapping and the missing X/Y axis moving stuff by pixels.

No you really can’t. Wowhead tried this and it was meh at best. I have gone back to using ElvUI, Bartender and a few more so I’m happy. I’ll never use the new UI, it’s just an eyesore imo and bugged with about as much versatility as a brick

If you use the default UI (or used) yes you can. If not, use an addon. Its not worth posting about in any way. Get over it.

That’s the thing with opinions isn’t it? Everyone has one and it’s worth is based on the individual. Maybe you should deal with that simple logic?

So you weren’t using the old UI to begin with. Why are you upset again?

They should not have to revert to an 18 year old UI just for people stuck in the past.

Where is the target of target frame? That is what i want to know.
How am i suppose to know who the mobs are attacking (without an addon)? As a tank this is very problematic.

Well spotted Holmes, but I’ve gone back to using them from years back. I had recently been using the default UI. So if you had thought this through you could of made this conclusion…if you thought outside the box that is

personally im fine with the ui except for a bunch of options that are missing for me. like movable rep/exp bar or a movable enemy castbar but also im 100% for a legacy UI option.

Ok Karen :metal:

brother your a life saver ! you have no idea how much i love you … you just ended my long lasting nightmare since prepatch started , no ones working on chatter anymore and i couldnt find a replacement . ty ty ty ty <3

I know a lot of people like the new Dragonflight UI, which is actually pretty good. It still has some bugs (especially when importing and exporting profiles) and there are some elements that cannot be moved, although there are already addons that fix it and allow you to move them.

Still, if you want to bring back the old interface, I’ve updated my ClassicUI addon that brings back the old interface. It does not bring back the BFA UI, but the old one (style is similar to Legion). It has been specially designed for the interface elements related to the action bar, so if you already use Dominos or Bartender, it doesn’t make much sense to use it, although in the future I plan to expand it to recover more old interface elements (such as the player frame, target frame or focus frame for example). It has several customization options in case you prefer to recover some elements but not others, and also more utilities. It is available at Curseforge and WoWInterface if you want to try it.

Too bad ElvUI looks like trash to me, so I refuse to use it.

Only thing I’ve replaced is my party and raid frames.

Might get a chat addon just so I can make the font larger. I’m half blind.

Aslong as people who dont like the new UI wont voice their opinion with their wallet, they wont give any options.

The new UI is so much worse than what it was before. I dont understand why Blizzard has to implement new elements without leaving the old behind to choose?

I love the new UI! Admittedly I haven’t played since Legion, except for a brief escapade into Classic’s launch. I really like how it lets me do things with it that I had to get addons for previously!

Though I do wish the Edit options were expanded. Like thicker player health bars, turning off macro text, tinting the whole button art when out of range / mana, etc.
