Already hate the new UI

I think a lot of it is a gut reaction to it being different. As well as people not knowing how to use it properly yet.

The forums of course do not help with this as instead of trying to learn, people get caught up in a spiral of negitivity and give up.

I first disliked it when i tried it on PTR but since then ive got it set up in a way i prefer.

People just need time.

Yes. It’s a matter of being easier to complain than actually spend 5 minutes trying to learn Edit mode

There honestly isn’t much learning to be done. It’s intuitive enough to just do on the fly. If someone finds it too complicated then I’m afraid the UI is not the problem.

As a migraine sufferer the text really hurts my eyes.

What are you talking about specifically?
What text has changed from the original UI?

I really like having the opportunity to move bits around. It is given me an opportunity to streamline all the action buttons which were getting a bit cluttered with macros, mounts you name it

I used to have Bartender, which is very good but quite complex imo. Bigger icon sizes is lovely.

I am unsure of some bar options as they seem to be raid stuff, hopefully will get there in time.

Being able to see my health and the mobs health at the bottom centre screen is helpful.

Making the chat box slimmer and taller :+1:

Quest info top left out of the way, nice ! ^^

A Classic preset for anyone not into this, also good :slightly_smiling_face:

I hated it at first, but got used to it pretty quickly.

I put mine back to as close as I could. If only I could move the targeted npc profile to where it should be.

I’ve managed to make it quite similar.
Won’t take me too much trouble to get used to this one.

I hate the new UI too. Looks soulless, bland, and I hate that nothing has colors anymore.

I agree.
For the past few days, I struggled with spells that weren’t keybinded (Cd’s) and wanted the buttons to be more in the middle like in the add-ons. The problem is: I hate add-ons as I like the pure clean UI of WoW. The only add-on I have is the gun sound (I can’t live without a realistic gun sound like we used to have in Vanilla).
I believe Blizzard analyzed what people used more and implemented it.
I applaud this change.

Cheers.

I will still use ELVUI but there is time so they can patch it up till 28. November.

I am not sure if we can change the size of this, as they are quite tiny now. :mag:

Luckily hovering over them gives me a larger label of what they are, so I am hoping I can manage this way.

agree. this is the only thing i dont like.

I cannot hide this stupid gryphon/wyvern icon on bar, I cannot off all those minimap trackers, that are totaly useless. I cannot move chat as I want, new menu looks ugly and I have no idea who chose those colors. Bag interface suck.
Is there anything good? Game is unplayable for me and my friend, who cancel sub today because she don’t like new ui and she will not play this “stupid game”.
