Me too, sort of.
Finally plucked up the courage to log in and have a play. I set it to Classic, reduced Action Bar size, turned off Bar Art and made UI 94% (used to be 110 as I prefer larger fonts). I might play with the various sizing options and see if I can find a more comfortable layout.
Things are harder to read and I need to move my head closer to the screen to read tooltips etc but it’s ok so far.
I’ve not done a great deal to see how well it works long term. I did a WQ in Ardenweld just to see.

I’ll muddle through I think. It’s not as bad as I feared.

How do you get rid of the risen ghoul when you hover over npcs and other players?

Omg you people, it will takes few days to adapt and in few weeks you will forgot how old even looked like lmao.

Update is great, it provides so much more options. And yes you can create classic “lookalike”

imo it doesn’t provide enough options, why can’t i move the exp bar, why can’t i move the bag icon, why can’t i move micro UI bar in the bottom right corner. They should’ve just gone all out.

Ok, this is my attempt at “classic lookalike” Make sure to have action bars 1-5 enabled in interface options.

Just found out that actually you can still get to tracking options.

In HUD Edit Mode I clicked the Mini map and ticked for the header to go underneath the map, exited edit, THEN I noticed to the left of the location name is an super tiny icon to get to the tracking. (which is why I missed it earlier). :mag:

You can change what you track, but it seems some things like stable master are not listed to turn their icons off.

Tbh the icons are quite small and pale to me, I have to zoom right into the mini map to try and see them.

Would personally LOVE a bright colour accessibility option to make them stand out more for me.

It does now give the name of the npc (where applicable) which is useful).

Yuo cannto turn off vendors, innkeepers etc.
New ui also don’t have health bar text.

My first experience with the new UI was generally good. I’ve managed to create a setup that I really like. Then came the addon hell. Managed to find a tooltip bug (I’ve reported it), it appears even without addons but the addons surely don’t help either. (Yes, I have updated them.) Still, my overall experience is positive.

I was fairly hyped for Dragonflight but honestly, these UI changes just put the hype down close to 0.
I’m actually really upset …

Bartender 4 is the closest thing you can have to the old UI. I was able to scale the micro menu bar that’s been microscopic and move the status tracking bar (couldnt find a way to do that outside BRT4).

“SexyMap” helped me keep my old map icon, which is the simple square.

That’s my five cents, hope it helps.

this is bad in so many ways change the UI back NOW

hmm, I feel your pain. I hate my new talent tree, with all my fav spells and casts, gone without a trace and others that I have to lose a talent to get them back. I think hate is too kind, how about I loathe the new talent tree.

yé blizz, do control-z NOW

You cannot track enemy hp bar in new ui. They removed text on hp bar from interface…

The little ive done with it, its pretty easy to use- so far jyst retained the classic action bar look and moved my health bar back to top left corner. As Clare mentioned, did find a bug where some spells weren’t recognised on the action bar (Execute being the main one. Then realised i had actually lost Bladestorm from fury spec. A good one is where Crushing Blow and Raging Blow share the same button, alternating as necessary)
Just need to readjust my rotation, as that has changed a bit. Overall, I’m happy with it

Think I hate it again. Since I’ve lost the option to show a Target in the Minimap. I use this a lot.
I’m hoping that an addon will bring it back (or I find the setting somewhere).

Edit:
This Target highlight is showing on Timeless Isle just now, but it wasn’t working in Dragon Soul earlier. Either I hit a bug or they’ve done something to raids.
