Alt has 20 renown. main has not. i cant boost my main?

I took the easy way, so i bought another 70 boost.

I wanted to use that boost on my currently main and lvl 70 class, to get those 20 renowns, and continue from there. But its not even possible to upgrade my 70 toon with a lvl 70 boost just for the reputation?

I was grinding for renown on that char, but realising it feels horrible when my alt is idle and only playing my alt for arena.

That alt that is idle has lvl 20 renown reputation while my main still has to grind it. Why cant i use my 70 boost on already lvl 70 class just for rep?

yes i know its allot of money just for the rep boost. But i just dont wanna grind for weeks next to a fulltime job and having kids when alt already has 20 renown.

i dislike grinding on that alt since i just boosted him for arena. Not for pve things.

you can get to renown 20 in 3 weeks just by doing the weekly quest that gives rep, the quest where you plant 5 seeds and 1 superbllom per week :sunglasses:
i did that on my main so that is how i know :sunglasses:
i assume you have done the quest chain there on your main :sunglasses:

U mean grinding in the emerald dream?
currently doing the Soup thing at iskaari…

It goes fast i agree, also gets a little buff after you used a 70 boost on one of your classes. But still feels horrible when your idle-alt is having 20 renowns. when i stil have to grind for 3 weeks. We live in 2024. people are lazy like me :smile:

emerald dream have a quest chain which i assume you have already done on your main.
but Valanos is that your main?

ya, thought would be better to just post on my main. dont really matter tbh.

Can u pick difrent factions to gain rep from? after u done certain grinds?
Thought only emerald dream reputations in there

i feel your pain on that also since i still need some for Iskaara and Maruuk :sunglasses:

well unless you are going for mounts/pets then going for the other factions isnt needed but if you do the weekly quest in valdrakken you do get rep with the mian factions each week

ye throwing things in the soup for third time today, feels horrible and time consuming. Wish i could pickpocket my alt

for Iskaara there is also a weekly turnin in walking shore that gives 700 rep each week

ye i understand you on that one and tbh they could just make a similar thing with the boost so you can buy only boost for rep but i guess that would destroy alot ingame since many just do it that way instead

maybe even do it with old reputation also

well it should be shared account wide, thats another thing. But that comes i believe in next expansion, doesnt help the current situation now :slight_smile:

yeah but if u can buy Boost for alt with 20 renowns. If u could just upgrade ur current main with that 70 boost ( overpriced for such a small rep boost ) should be possible, Maybe they afriad people will mistake clicking on lvl 70. Just make an extra warning

If there’s no other way, i give my boost to my son i quess. Since i just bought it for the rep :expressionless:
