Alts/Mount farming in BFA

My friend described questing in Classic as somewhere they send you to grind mobs, which is pretty true a lot of the time

Were link it please.

There is no made up reason you just disagree with it.

I had 3 chars in classic i have played since US servers 2004 you are blatantly lying in your blinkered view.

Actually i prefer classic over retail on how questing system and leveling goes. It’s more grindy and slower but i am not railroaded in any chains, i can select and do what i wish. I don’t have to do quests in same order or (in 90% of cases) do some long questlines to be able to just do some other area quests. Those few long questlines that are there don’t block you from basic leveling area quests, but just add optional fun long adventures.

6143 kills over 2 accounts and 30+ chars for strat mount i think the OP is far from lazy and being a mount collector she knows what to expect .

Sick and tired of blatant liars saying people want something for nothing its getting right on my t…

I kind of meant as opposed to in retail where you outlevel the content, classic is slower. I actually had more fun levelling in classic because I kept forgetting to feed my pet and it ran away

Classic leveling isnt boring. Its boring only for players what simply dont like mmorpg games and are more into aprgs like d3.

Cruel!!! I had the same pet from start to finish (until I quit)

I would disagree because you are railroaded so well… because if you skip something all you can do is go kill 10000 more mobs. Classic simply does not have enough quests to ‘choose’.

Not sure what you talking about. I hit lvl 60 and never run out of quests. And no i did not dungeon exp farm.

Then you didnt play back in 04/05 as there wasnt enough quests ingame so you are basically telling fibs.

Several players in our Classic guild ran out of quests too. In the end all they had was dungeon quests.

The higher you got the more mobs you had to kill to get drops as well. It became a very dull chore of slaughter everything.

If you would see my classic play you would probably have a good laugh, because i am adventuring a lot and probably am (in the process without noticing) killing 10000 mobs. I haven’t run out of quest ever there but i do tend to sidetrack a lot on things. It’s not for everyone i know but for my style it fits like a glove. Totally not saying it is more effective or just, just fits for me nicer, i feel free there.

Originally Blizzard had even less quests, they implemented some in haste as they felt they might be pushing it. And yes people in our classic guild run out quests too. Those, who did not used ‘rested exp’ + dungeon quest chains which means they were not 1st wave 60s.

hey if you have fun, this is most important. But thing is the way Classic quests are built up - they expect you to grind in between the walks, or waits. Even droprates consider it. Like when I did this ‘get 10 tongues from bears’ quest, I counted… or rather addon counted I killed 64 bears for it.

I must stress it is not “lack of quests” part that makes it better for me but it’s just lack of railroading. By railroading i mean the current system where you get 1-3 quests and you have to do them to see next 1-3 quests, and after that you get 1-3 more and so on. I love to just gather HUGE amount of quests in log and then go around adventuring and killing absolutely everything and then go return everything at once. That’s satisfaction!
