Am I missing out by not having windfury totem as a warrior?

I love alliance, and I love having paladins blessings on my side (kings, might, -30% threat, hell even freedom and cleanse in pvp is awesome), but at the same time I’m starting to wonder if horde isn’t a little more fun for warriors?

Windfury totem generates extra rage when it procs, which probably means you’re swimming in rage way more than alliance both in pve and pvp, not to mention that you definitely have more burst as horde in pvp with wf totem, and shamans purge shields, which are really annoying for warriors.

What do you guys think?

I think that if you’re choosing faction based on a class you’re not even playing, you’re probably overthinking it.

Obviously you are missing out.

Salvation is good though.

Horde has Windfurry Totem, Alliance has paladin blessings.

Both sides miss out.

yeah but which one feels better for warriors? I feel like alliance = you can go all out and not even care about aggro nearly as much as horde, while horde = tons of procs here and there with wf = more rage, but you can’t go all out

Raiding as horde is definitely more frustrating, paladins help immensely. In fact, even in group pvp, paladins are a massive help too.

windfury most overrated spell in game

when you stack HOJ sword specs and WF some funny things can start happening, cant blame melees for loving my windfury totem  100% more fun than a silly paladin in a dress.

I mean, sure, but if you want funny just roll gnome and get a Gnomish Death Ray at a lower level than any other race in the game.

but i will be a gnome…

Which adds to the comedy, no?

 guess so.

Blessing of Might Blessing of Salvation Blessing of Kings is better than Windfury for Pve anyway.

Windfury all the way for me. It enables warriors to use a 2h in PVE if you prefer and it makes warrior alot more fun to play from ph1-3 which is half of the game.

You’re missing out on some fun, but that’s about it.

Paladin blessings are much more reliable. Threat reduction blessing is probably the most OP ability in classic, since it’s virtually impossible for some classes to lower their threat.

Dark side awaits you, young padawan

Phase 2 can’t come out soon enough. I really hope that at that point dresses are restricted to dungeons only. I got my pvp heal set. Full plate and atm 4,5k hp. A few additions from DM to it and i can tank physical dps pretty much forever.

Also looks pretty awesome thanks to T0 shoulders and T2 helmet.

Both are good.

Shaman ? WindFury giga-proc and interrupt / snare / dispell boy.

Paladin ? BoP, Lay of Hands, free mobility, stunbot, buffer.

  1. You’re overthinking it.
  2. I went human warrior, something tells me I should have gone orc - #48 by Alphaomega-skullflame

Strength of earth is compareable to might.
