Disable all racial abilities when your character enters any sort of competitive environment.
Mythic dungeons, raids, ranked PvP.

They would still be used in casual environment: the entirety of the open world, random BHs, random dungeons, LFR, legacy raids and dungeons, as well as Timewalking dungeons.
Many toys already work like this.

Imbalance is good to an extent. Racials dont cross the line. A perfectly balanced game is a boring game.

Eh. They don’t cross the line for damages, sure.
But the human racial has long been way over the top in PvP, and the Night elf one is amazing for healers in arena: you get to dodge a free CC (polymorph) or big damage spell (chaos bolt), or you can use it later to instant leave combat and drink to regen mana.
Meanwhile, Worgen players get…a small speed boost. Yeah…

I wonder how this is any relevant for the discussion. Ad Hominem is a good way to show lack of argumentation, refrain from it for your own good.

Speed boost is also useful, when getting away or when chasing for example.
Different racials are good for different stuff. Thats fine.
It wouldn’t be Ad Hominem though, it would be Ad personam. Besides, I’m not attacking him, I’m merely rejoicing to find a fellow countryman in here.
No, the Worgen racial is just terrible, let’s be honest. The gnome one is much better at this.

Never claimed they were equally good. Tweak the numbers a little bit thats fine, but still, diversity on racials is a good thing.
And then if you want to play with friends or looking for some - they are more likely to play Horde. You want to find a good guild - more of them is on the Horde side. You want to recruit for a mythic progression guild - you have more players on the Horde side. Racials right now have nothing to do with faction balance. The effect since long time is just a runaway effect of more players pulling more players.

What did that Vinzora comment has to do with racial traits?
Ad personam is not that great, I’ve heard.
It is, that’s why I don’t want them removed. Simply disabled in the few most competitive parts of the game.
I think a Night Elf avoiding a spell by using his or her racial is a good thing, same way any other race can use their racial to their advantage even in a competitive enviroment because choice should matter.
People just need to take a step back and chill the hell out trying to take everything so damn seriously and wanting to nerf and change every single aspect of the game.
Everyone equal is boring.
