Just because they can be used in different manners and can be advantageous at different scenarios, it doesnt mean they should be disabled in competitive gameplay.
You choose your class, some classes are good at different thing than other classes. Yet they play to their strengths. You dont disable classes in competitive pvp do you? If they did, this game would be counter-strike.
Its the same with racials, you pick a race, each racial is good at something different, so play to their strengths.
As I said, they are fine. They arent gamebreaking even in competitive environment.
No, each character has their own post count, the pattern I’m talking about is a certain style of writing that each of us has, pretending to be someone else is harder than it seems.

Tbh the issue was racials… now the issue is time.
It’s been sooooo long that the damage is done, now people will play a faction for it’s population and wanting to get content done.

Removing racials is too little too late. Tho I suppose it wouldn’t actually hurt much.
Fixing faction imbalance?
Easy. Give the faction with the lowest playerbase per server a 50% experience boost, and decrease the price of faction change to the lowest population faction for that server as well.
Now it’s multiple personalities syndrome then.

Don’t think it’s that simple. I mean the experience would sure help people make alts but it would be a faction of alts.
The 50% experience bonus would benefit people coming in fresh no doubt but warmode does something similar already.
The actual faction changing would also require people wanting to in the first place. Why move from the populated one to the lower one if you have a max level character? Sure some will just coz… I don’t think it would be a great impact tho tbh.
So you’re saying that orc relentless, triple BELF, every man for himself etc are completley fine and make the game “fun” by endorsing mirror match ups to be the same race/selection of races to remain competitive, get out 
Easy fix is to let both factions play PvE together i can’t see any other solution except removing factions completely.

No cause then you’re accepting the racials are strong and admitting the company is too weak to look into refining and looking for some balance, player choice should matter and if you let racials win then you’re letting them dictate which faction is the faction to play and most importantly what races to go to for the edge cutting %'s for the content you intend to play
I’m not accepting racials are strong, you overlooked the fact that no one wants to play alliance because better skilled playerbase are already in horde. Horde > Alliance skillwise at this point.
You cannot have difference and then have perfect balance, it’s impossible. Difference is imbalance.
The only way for perfect balance of racial is to mirror them on each faction. Something which defeats the point of having them in the first place.

No thanks. I could have a little more dps by switching to troll and I like having this option if someday I become a minmaxer. Right now I enjoy my blood elf waifu more
Yes they are completely fine. If you think they arent, read their tooltips again.
You dont need whatever racial you think is the best to remain competitive. If you blame the racials because you cant play competitive, its your fault.

But the human and orc racials up untill Legion literally had the opposite in terms of Racials no? and they were on the opposite factions too, horde had a dps trinket for a racial and humans had a free freedom trinket which opened up the viability of running 2 DPS trinkets in place of a freedom trinket (keep in mind that the orcs get 0 punish for using their racial at all whereas most other races with a strong on-demand racial get forced to have their trinket on 30 second CD too)
The only reason you dont see orc or human druids is cause the race/class combination doesn’t exist else I’m fairly sure that would be the main two races of choice.
Its not so much overlooking the idea its just blizzard have stated so many times no to the removal of the faction barriers and its one of the few things we’re never going to see loosened hence its not worth taking into consideration, ever. There are good players on alliance side, look at Method black as an example. Could go hunt for more but that besides the point. A fix will be hard to come by unless we see a expansion where they theoretically gut a horde racial or two, since thats how this problem started to begin with.
It does matter about you being competitive or not, not running a nelf as a rogue basically means you lose out on a free stealth > sap. Or lets say as a orc you’re missing out on a potential 3rd source of damage which just happens to be in-built into your race cause lol why not. Racials give you that last few %'s you need often than not to close a game. Change my mind. But then again You’re always welcome to tell me where the high MMR Goblins, worgen and pandaren and what ever other races dont see competitive play are on the pvp ladders or give me some falsified excuse on how totally not biased the choice of races are
Ofcourse there are very high skilled players on alliance side, but people are sniffing easier time doing PvE and you see what they choose, at this point it’s not about racials, people are just joining winning side of conflict. “If you can’t beat someone, join him”

I never said nelf and orc races arent useful. However others are useful too.
Just check leaderboards for 2v2, 3v3 and 10v10. They have many races, gnomes, goblins, bloodelves, trolls, night elves, humans, orcs, dwarves, pandas, taurens…
In fact in 10v10, the 1st and 2nd place go to bloodelf rogues, not night elves. Also, the 3rd place goes to a gnome warrior.
To be fair I’ll admit that I havent seen any worgens there, but then again I havent gotten past 30 on the lists.
Not being in the WORLD 30 or 100 doesnt mean you cant play competitive. Anyone can play competitively.
If you are one of the types that min/max everything and care about this stuff that much, sure you can play whatever race you think is the best. Not to mention racials will NEVER be balanced unless you make them absolutely the same or remove them. So you will ALWAYS have some min/max’ers and something that stands out more.
