Except we don’t make excuse for losing to other people’s racial ability. But we do feel compelled to plain one race over another because the racial they provide is so much better.
Alliance druid is a good example of that: shadowmeld means dodging powerful spells (polymorph, fear, chaos bolt, cyclone…) and the opportunity to instantly start drinking for mana. The worgen, on the other hand, is completely worthless in PvP.
so you admit to playing a race purely for its advantage and you also want to get rid of it… you sir, are part of the problem - stop trying to offer “solutions”
saying worgen are useless also goes to show how much you really know

How can we quantify how many people are playing x race for racials rather than just coz they like them? 
Blood elves are popular coz they are pretty for example… everyone knows that. Also don’t people just not PvP as much on Alliance?
Too many variables, personal taste, overall population, being more PvE focused etc… it’s really impossible to quantify one sole reason for such an imbalance, maybe there was an argument 10 years ago, but we are long past that.

Been playing this game for 10+ years and I still rarely hit my racial button.
Probably because I play the races with the most redundant active racial abilities or those that are extremely situational that you only use in a specific type of content.
