Well, difference is that botting has been going on for the entirety of classic and tbc…. 24/7! So whoever you see on that shining epic flying mount, could’ve bought it, or have 5 bot accounts on the side… Who tf knows, and that’s the issue.
Gehennas queue is also 250 minutes so don’t be sad a lot. and it is trash server with gold sellers foundation and unplayable even if you manage to enter. I prefer queue instead playing on apple watch hardwared server. My pc is better than their server :D.
i fully agree that this is a possible solution. but alone that solution does not solve the problem, since too many people have allready created a toon on Thekal.
a big thing they could do is “reverse” the decision to allow players to have toons of both factions on a PvP server. then add another server, for a start have it as a Free transfer destination from Thekal. with a real-time balanced transfer. so requested transfers get put on hold if that faction is now outnumbering the other by 10% or more.
have the new server initiate queues way earlier. and the very MOMENT that the new server reaches a certain threshold of players, stop new transfers (exept those that allready got a toon tranfered. Perhaps offer a “bundle” transfer of all your toons at the same time) and open yet another server.
only when the population has balanced out on more FRESH servers should they then allow NEW players to create toons on any of the servers.
further keep the FRESH PVP as a seperate “battlegroup” with the only transfers to any of them is from within that group. and only by the free transfers to keep balance.
if by players dropping off for long periods of time, any of these servers then become low population (player term = Dead) they should say that "we are now opening transfer from “X” to “A” and “B”, and at next reset realm X WILL be shut down. please tranfer now while YOU can choose, at reset we will force transfers.
That is a possible solution.
Privet. People play on PvP servers (most of the people) not because of WPvP, but healthy economic and population.
Well you and people pre ordering games are the reason for issues like this.
Ye but then the servers would die off post launch.
Yea, for example. And I think the Players would be fine with it, and not up in flames about it (:
Tho that requires a bit more coding work than just checking the balance of the players that were logged for let’s say past 30 days for example and closing the creation after the balance is over a specific threshold like 10%. That’s why I proposed that, that is literally short work. But I guess Blizz lost all the good Devs to Riot…
i did say “many solutions” not “all solutions”
there will allways be those that complain, that is a universal law that SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, WILL Complain. cant make everyone happy
PVE server is have all of this
Not as on PvP realms
I agree with the server situation being ridiculous and that even more people will return within the next few weeks but the economy argument is just not true. Fresh realms are not protected any different from bots flooding the markets and I guarantee you that as we speak there are TONS of them farming and making gold out of nothing on fresh servers.
Well spoken Tauren, here’s a Like
Sadly there is big chance pvp server will become pve, player driven.
launch is gonna be
“the drums of fail launch thunder once again”
Q FOR LITERALLY MANY DAYS
but peon cant escape because of my name and im only non npcs peon working for horde
while this is indeed true, raw gold still has to be made in order for wealth to accumulate. On fresh servers, there isn’t much gold shifting hands at the minute, which is what drives most people to start on the new servers to begin with.
You don’t have 9.5 h time to log, and don’t wanna think constantly about wotlk at work to use remote desktop? Well, they wait for this issue as close to wotlk launch as possible, so all of you dad gamers don’t hit 70 on time, and use their 70 boost (conspirancy)
I belive opening new Fresh servers without one becoming for Alliance and another for the Horde is only possible when they add one German, one Russian and one French PvP fresh realm. Blizzard can keep one PvE EU-En realm if they want to.
Your opinion is fenerally wrong on this matter…
Generally, WoW is just uphill just climbing until the end of TBC, then it’s just maintaining that level of incredibleness until Cataclysm comes out at which point it swiftly declines and continues to do so in freefall.
As they say, Arthas died in Northrend and World of Warcraft died with him.
