An Update on Our Response to the DDoS Attacks

So according to the tech support (Server Crash? - 2025/06/03 - #46 by Yryadorne), this thread here is the place to go to for complaints about the crashes

To the dev team/community managers,

Can we get an official response regarding the EU Wide server crash around midnight between june 2-3rd for hardcore characters?
The comunity has been asking for a week and we just want to know the official stance of the dev team regarding this particular outage as it was not the usual server/lag issue we can encounter whilst playing WoW.

Obviously we don’t have the influence big content creators have, can we at least have a semblance of equality between the comunity and content creators with an acknowledgement and response to this issue on HC.

To the dev team,

can we get an explanation why you resurrect some (streamer) characters and when ordinary customers die due to Blizzard fault not?
As I said in other topic, we understand that you won’t resurrect characters in hardcore mode if death is our fault (power failure, our ISP’s fault, bad gameplay etc.) but when it’s from your side where is the problem?
If a company or institution does something wrong shouldn’t they try and fix it?

@Kaivax time to look into what happened on 3rd of June and resurrect characters. How is US getting resurrections in May due to similar issues but we are not?

Surely EU servers are just as important as the US ones.

I was just in the US HC FORUMS and many players there died on may 31 due to ddos/server issues so they might say something soon… hopefully.

Pathetic really. This isn’t going away, I would advise just approaching this head on, otherwise people will be posting daily for a long time to come. Myself included. I expect my character back, that opinion isn’t going to change over time

Just give us a statment. Either ress or not, but i can’t transfer my character before they give us an answer.

So you guys deside to ress those who died now on july 28 and not the people who died on june 2-3? whats the point in that why is it so different now than june 2-3?

Can you please check the 3rd june accident too where the battlenet outage hit ?

That was nearly 2 months ago. The absence of any communication speaks for itself.
