Soulseeker were unstabble once again from midnight till 1 am with constant DC’s, lost 60 mage to it in a dungeon with full raid gear.
Why do I have to be afraid all the time now to play even the game and not be scared about getting DC and die again. Some kind of insurence or progress?

I am a member of the Soul of Iron guild — the first Horde guild on the Stitches server to defeat Kel’Thuzad. We have since moved to the Soulseeker server, where we are actively raiding and recently became the fastest Horde guild to clear Blackwing Lair.
During the night of July 31st to August 1st, we were helping our guild master farm quest items from elite dragons for the Scepter of the Shifting Sands questline, required for the opening of the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj.
Unfortunately, due to a DDoS attack, several members were disconnected mid-event. As a result, we lost two crucial characters: our lead healer Karterii and our off-tank Ordzig.
This unexpected loss has significantly impacted our ability to continue progression in AQ20 and AQ40.
We kindly ask you to investigate this issue and consider restoring these characters.

My level 60 Mage Jespo unfortunately died today on the Soulseeker HC – EU server due to a suspected DDoS attack that affected me and five other players during the Rend fight in UBRS.

I died together with the mage above Jespo on Soulseeker HC,
Lumi Undead Warrior lvl 60 while doing UBRS run. Simply disconnected while doing rend and when I logged back I was dead along with many other players. I would kindly request for a character revival.

My 43 level paladin Dulvar died on soulseeker disconnected in sea at 11 pm 01.08 (realm time) while my internet up and running. Please investigate and res my character

Blizzards latest response to me, and they force closed my ticket without letting me respond. Needless to say I cancelled my sub, and will not be re-upping for the upcoming classic TBC launch like I was planning, they can go pound sand as well. Goodluck to you all with your search for revival, but its not happening.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused you, as this is a strict policy of Blizzard Entertainment. My shaman died on the DDOS attack as well on soulseeker, the attack was around 23:00 on the 01/08/2025 Ogangsta was the name off the car
My friends characters died due to a DDoS attack (mass disconnect) while we were in the Black Mountain Depths dungeon. Not only my character died, but the entire group. Character names: Freeman, Dukanio, Apteka, Arthorias, Maclaud. The date and time of the mass disconnect: August 1, 2025, 23:08 server time. Server: Soulseeker. You have previously restored hardcore characters who died during mass incidents. Please restore our characters, as the death occurred due to a mass incident.

My charachter has also died during the DDOS Attack of August 1, 2025, 23:08 server time. Server: Soulseeker. It was on the charachter named Vingásoline.

There was also an incident on July 31. Not sure if it was DDOS or any other kind of technical server problems. In any case the mass disconnect followed by the death of many players at the same time was not the players fault though.
Blizzard, please take action: revive players which have died due to ddos attacks, server problems and similar causes beyond the players influence. Also, think of a solution for future issues (like an automatic revive mechanism which treats a player as non-hardcore if the cause of death was a disconnect, allowing them to resurrect, or something like that).

I lost my 32 Mage during the 0035am (01/08) dc that I’ve seen has killed many others and my brother lost his Shaman too (EU100493071). Got the same generic response from Blizzard with random links to the US Forums. Bizarre. Please Revive my character : Halandir - I want to die in battle, not a log on screen!

Hello Mine character 50 lvl shammy NINISINA died by DDOS attack yesterday when I tanked maradon with full group. Me and heal with 2 more dps got disconnect and a lot of ppl on the server too. Im died coz had agro at self another party member survived after relogin in couple minutes i was died on gravel. I have screenshots and ppl who can confirm that your big issue by your server. I hope you carring about your customers and will resurect mine and another chars who died with that reason

Also died mine friend and guild mate character name Søkøl , level 60 Rogue in the same time, he couldnt text here no idea why asked to text me too.
