I just got the quest and unwelcome advisor but anduin is not in stormwind! I started the broken shore questline but i disnt go on with it because of the gul’dan bug and i dont see ant of the attack on broken shore quests in my quest log
Can anyone help?

This is a common issue and Anduin seems to really misbehave due to some phasing problems ever since SL pre-patch.
You must have another quest in your log that causes Anduin to be in a different phase, but the tricky part is trying to find out which one.
In most cases, “On Whispered Winds” is the one causing issues, so if you have that quest, abandon it and see if Anduin phases in correctly. If that doesn’t fix it or you don’t have that quest, reply here with an overview of quests in your log (if it isn’t too many) so we can see which one could be causing it if it isn’t the one above.
Fingers crossed the above fixes it, otherwise I’m sure we can figure it out somehow

I also have if i look on my map i see the quest for the battle for broken shore in stormwind harbor i haven’t accepted that quest because if i go to the location i dont see a quest giver or anyone
Hmm okay, none of these quests would be known to cause a phasing issue with Anduin, so it might just be bugged. We can try party syncing in-game, where I log onto a lower level character, group up with you, and force your phase to sync to mine, which seems to have resolved the issue for some other people.
