Anniversary gold earning

Hey, i would like to gather as much tips and informations as possible.

First of all, i refuse to buy gold, i will never do that.
I am lvl 38 on an anniversary having 200 gold right now.

Leveling herb and mining

Whats the best way to earn a lot of gold as rogue in 60s for epic mount ans to buy bind on equip things?
Also i want to learn engineer on max lvl, would you suggest to keep mining or herb?

Thanks a lot

You are a rogue, you can farm gosth mushroom in maraudon for example soon, something you can do already is pickpocket all trash in dungeon Humanoid heavy like SM

Farm classic era gold, exchange it with anniversary ( assuming you have friends or someone willing to ). But I see on the chat people demanding exchanges between servers.

Think there’s something for ya’ in Dire Maul East, but honestly:

Just Google “WoW Classic rogue farms”…

“Just google”. Man i love this Community nowdays. He did ask us, my god

At least you helped.

He at least offered a suggestion, you on the other hand just came into the thread spreading toxicity and bad mood. Some community indeed.

As for OP, I heard it suggested that farming Crusader enchant pattern at off-hours can actually be pretty effective gold wise. It can drop as often as every 5-6 hours and sells for well over 600g making it better than boosting Stockades or suchlike endeavours.
Or if you can handle it killing blue dragon or demon elites in Winterapring for Blue dragon Sinew or Orb of Shadow (for MC class quests). I already sold 2 sinews this week for 700g each.

And this my dear friends is exactly what is wrong with society these days. Funny that this comes from Nicolai, a guy who is so toxic to others in here, Amazing suggestion this guy did give him with “Just google”

You too bro, funny :joy::joy:

Recently I discovered an interesting farm in Winterspring. You need to do one simple pre-quest and then you can gather E’kos. You can farm them in raid and everyone will loot E’ko if it drops, so it’s pretty awesome and low effort and literally does not require anything. You’ll be yelled at, if you do too much DPS, lol.

I tried to farm frost giants. They are elites. In 30 minutes I got 4 drops. Every drop is 10 gold, so that’s 80 gold/hour, if that droprate is consistent.

  1. Flip AH - many prices are very volatile
  2. Level alts for profession cooldowns (mooncloth / cured rugged hide). You need 35 lvl. Profit for 1 alt is around 80-100g per week with current prices. If you decide to do it, chose warlock or hunter as it is fastest classes to level to 35. If you have some big gold to invest for future (for example you sold expencive BoE) - you can also think about levelling alchemy and buying transmute undead to water recipe.
  3. When ZG comes out, rogues can stealth farm bloodvine. It will be very big gold, espeically first days. Probably up to 200-300 per hour
  4. Easiest method is farm open world resources (winterfall firewater, elemental fire/earth, etc) but it is usually very contested.
  5. Also can farm herbs in dungeons (dire maul, maraudon, scarlet). It’s less gold then open world farming but not contested

Since i would like to pick engineer later, should i take herb with me to farm rogue stuff for the tea or mining for engineer

Take engi/mine. You’ll be able to do DMT (Dire Maul North - Tribute) with Sapper charges, not solo, but it’s still wanted. Mining is decent for DME runs as well, but Herb/Mine goes better together then.

So, weren’t you so hung up on justice and “standing up to toxicity”, and then you enter this thread SOLELY to be condescending and negative? Not even a suggestion of your own.

You got some mental growth you need to take care of friend.

Just farm arcane crystals in silithus hives (unless ur on that Spineshatter bot infested cesspool then RIP) like other rogues.

Congrats u can buy one flask for 200g now :joy: I bet unti; tbc patch flask will be 500g

Googling and getting answers takes like 10 secs. But nooooooo, let’s come to forums instead.

Is this not what the forums are for? Bit of a stupid response.

Both are right. It is a wow forum, so it is perfectly suited to ask wow realted questions. It is, however, also perfectly reasonable to answer that the common google results on the topic are as good a place as any to start on. The implication is that the player googled it himself, saw those results as sensible ways to farm, and instead of writing them all out by hand simply commented that the google results are indeed a good place to look.

Every time I read this topic header my mind translates it as: “Anniversary gold earing.”
