Me leveling a paladin tank and doing dungeon wouldn’t mind some added mana regen, a taunt and maybe a defensive cooldown that is not on a one hour CD.

Chronoboons have a lot of downsides, it makes playing on a pvp server more similar to a pve server, but there is a massive upside in people not being offline for weeks to save DMF. People learned to distrust you no changes people after they got to experience batching, it made the first year and a half of classic much worse.
Do you seriously think preventing scams, letting ranged classes see nameplates of their targets and searching through your profession tab makes classic be like retail? It’s obvious you don’t play either version of the game if you do.
You are also completely delusional if you think classic hasn’t evolved, it has changed massively and the lack of changes to the game has broken the game in many regards. The game has not kept up with the culture at all, chronoboon was a small but significant step in the right direction, the nerf of batching too.

All these changes smell way too much of retail. Obviously if you had the option of switching between mods, I’d say go for it.

Good. Most players use AH as a shop anyways. Except it’s inconvenient because it’s technically Auction House. Yes, sometimes players actually auction things off but that’s like 2% of the GDP and mostly applies to stuff like epic BoEs.
TL;DR the game needs a player to player shop first and foremost and only then auction (optionally)
I’d prefer for AH to be removed entirely. If you want to trade, do it P2P. There’s Trade channel for that.

So basically you want the benefits of the DragonflightUI addon but baked into the game.
Go for it, I’d be ok with more changes, even some very minor class tweaks (give Paladins a taunt and buff righteous fury for example).
Heck Era is sitting there if you want #nochanges
Anniversary was stated as being different from the get go. They told us it would progress to TBC and that changed how it was played for 1000s of people. They are just prepping everything for when the portal opens. It’s going to be crazy.
There is also dual spec added, a massive change and instant mail isn’t something to overlook.
If you’re playing anniversary and complaining about potential changes, you’re on the wrong servers. Hop over to era and enjoy your 21yo game. It’s literally there for you to enjoy.

Era is 1-60 only. We never had a nochanges TBC that stayed.

If they give us a TBC era server in 18 months time when anniversary goes to wrath, and said server maintains a good population, and of said population a high enough % would rather it was a #nochanges situation, maybe just maybe you should make the case.
Me, I’m down for Wrath era with massive dollop of QoL, like account bound mounts and the collections interface. Even transmog, yup I wanna collect stuff and I like the wrath version of classes.
I’d even go with adding mythic dungeons or having the adventure log thingy with tasks to earn stuff.

I hope for HC to progress to TBC and for us to get TBC Era servers. Actually I do not play Anni right now, because I do not want to be forced into Wrath, and even less into Cata once again.
Transmog and Achievements are fun - as long as they are character specific.
Yeah the fear of it being another round on the expansion treadmill is real. F Cata again, just finish it with a Wrath era as it should have been when they did classic Cata. That failure is why I think we have anniversary at all.

Let’s hope that the purpose of Anniversary is to give us TBC and Wraht Era servers … but they need to progress HC as well.

They think TBC is too different for HC to work.
It’ll take a community effort with HC add-ons and plenty of visibility to demonstrate it’s viable and worth doing.
I mean the server data is all there, all they need to do is add the appropriate restrictions to things.
We were a bunch, who played HC all the way through Classic from 2019, so of course it can be done. It would have been so nice to have been able to do it officially this time around.
I’m not sure I’m up to fighting Blizz any more. I have cancelled my sub, only staying here hoping …
The least they could do was to reinstate the Watchers.

For god’s sake make AQ idols BOP or remove from requirements at all (that was a dumb decision to begin with) so we can stop the mafia of idols at 500g from AH and stop feeding gold farmers
The modern Auction House is not an auction house at all - it is a player to player shop, or rather a bot to player shop.
You cannot avoid byuing auctions off of known bots. That alone is a splendid reason not to have it.
I dunno man, I’ve gotten all my idols and scarabs for free from my guild bank. Does your guild sell them or something?

I dont care for Achivements at all, for me its one of the most silly things that ever made int into any game. But if ppl like them why not.

Yeah of course, I also waited 2 resets for mine, that is normal, especially Sun and Night are dropping way less than their corresponding tier pieces. Hence the AH prices. Wait your turn or pay outta pocket, as ever.
