Anniversary server needs

Alliance version of rend buff is simple lol

Give Alliance buff same buff of rend like in sod servers…

Before I start reading comments like… “Go play Sod” , “No” etc Remember that original classic did not had dual spec . boons for 1g, so talks about how this version is original falls into water… and people on Alliance side who wants rend buff already having it even without changes
Making cappers, even buying rend buffs…

Change would make just less annoying that already is .

What do you need it for? So you can get some sense of satisfaction from being able to properly compete on warcraftlogs?

Yes, exactly for that. Obviously. It exists, therefore it must be used for maximum number on dps meter. Why do you play raids? Why do you equip better gear? Why do you enchant it? Why you drink elixirs or flasks or E’kos?
Asking why you need a world buff is as dumb as asking why you need a better sword if you can beat a boss with your current one in an rpg.

None of that is needed to clear vanilla raids. People needing an ego boost is painful to be honest.

Yes it is not needed, but that is completely beside the point. I can’t tell if you are stupid or just pretending to be. Nobody claimed it is required to successfuly finish the raid. It is fun to make your character as strong as possible in an computer RPG game, it could be argued that aside from roleplaying itself, improving your character is the core mechanic of any CRPG. World buffs are some of the most massive (and fleeting) ways to improve your character in WoW. Therefore it is completely natural to want to have them. I don’t think I can explain it to you in any more clear terms.
It’s like saying you don’t need a car to get to work, you can use public transport. You don’t need to own a house, you can rent a flat with 3 roommates. Yes you can, but it is almost sad and pathetic not to want to do better.

Why don´t you ask for wf totem as well? Would that not make you even more powerful?

But we are talking about improvements currently in the game, and how getting some is needlesly contrived and unfun, like Rend buff. Why would you just completely non-sequitur to shaman buffs? Nobody is asking for WF on Alliance or Salvation on Horde. We will get those in due time in TBC anniversary (which is much better game buff-wise anyway).

Tryharding wow classic raids is like becoming a black belt in karate just to beat up a toddler.

Maybe your puny faction should not get warchiefs blessing. After all, you don´t hava a warchief.
I stand by it, if you want to get WCB to be competitive on WCL you are just a clown. Don´t give me that crap about making a toon as strong as possible.

Indeed we should get Might of Stormwind with same stats.

Alternatively, Warchief’s Blessing should not apply to mind controlled Alliance memebers. The way it is now is needlessly toxic and clearly unintended.

I accept you concession of having no arguments. Thank you.

allys can already get rend so idk whats the problem

The lvl 60 priest on 2nd account etc

Best fix for this would to actually make WCB not work for Alliance.

Oh thats a amen!

Go play SoD :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

You said it yourself, it is unintended. The logical, serious solution would therefore be to remove the MC/buff mechanic entirely.

Sure, that’s a possible solution, if we can’t have Might of Stormwind, at least make it so people don’t feel the obligation/need to get it by disabling buffs to MC. The buff not existing for Alli solves the problem of getting it

Mindcontrolled alliance players temporarily belong to the Horde.

It´s a pretty good argument. Collecting all buffs is only done for E-peen.
Alliance players are really pathetic. You don´t see horde players asking for pally buffs.

Vanilla raids are very hard. Players need all the possible ways to buff their characters to have a chance at killing the bosses.

Coming out of little Anduin’s pampers?
