Any info on next goldsink mount?

Don’t think there is yet but checking anyway : is there any info about what SL’s goldsink mount will be ? (If there is any).

Particularly regarding cost and potential usefulness like the brutosaur’s AH ?

Nothing official yet but they said I believe that they don’t want to have such a big upgrade as a mobile AH. So something smaller. Possibly a barber or such.

That’s my bet too. With all the new customizations and free gender change coming, I’m willing to put money on it. But I’ve been wrong before

I don’t see how a mobile barber is a small thing though. Coupled with the yak and the brutosaur, you’d literally never have to visit any city again.

Considering that barely anyone has the Brutosaur mount, I find it hard to believe that’ll be the case. + They’re making it unobtainable through the vendor in SL pre-patch.

Also how many times do you go to the Barber shop to change your appearance? Because for me it’s rarely more than once a week/month if that. If you think that a barber on a Vendor is going to kill the population of cities then I think that’s a bit silly to assume.

If anything, the auction house on a mount was the worst one. Thankfully it’s pretty rare, and unreliable to find someone on one, unless you have it, so going to a city to use an AH is still the way to go for the majority of players.

We’ll probably know closer to release. Then it’s just a matter of starting to gather gold for it immediately if it seems like a “this is useful and we don’t want to see something useful everywhere in a couple years” type mount that will get removed.

Next goldsink mount?

Are you talking about the new WoW Token mount? Thats primary goal is to get people to buy as many WoW tokens as possible.

How often do people really use a barber though? Am I alone in the fact I have maybe used it just a few times per character ever?

Maybe the new mount will have up to date items for sale. To be honest I only use mine for transmog and repairs.

Well, a lot of people hate orgrimmar, so I guess a mobile barber would be solidly popular.

I foresee using it a lot just after the expansion drops, though yeah, only like once on every character.

I know I do

The goblins got what you need!

Yeah, it’s on the road between the valley of Spirits and the valley of Wisdom, just across theroad from the western entrance to the Cleft of Shadows.

I know I did when I changed to Horde. I got lost there all the time

Almost all major cities have one, just ask a guard for directions, if the guard asks for payment, kill him.

The spider never had anything special about it other than the higher price tag. They may just go back to that kind of thing.

If I’d really wanted to spend the money on it, it would have been fun taunting our guild/raid leader with it… but spiders scare the excrement out of me too!

Only Orgrimmar, Stormwind, Boralus, Dazar’alor and both Dalarans have it afaik.

With my dwarves I visit the barber more often, especially when I change to another transmog set. The beard has to fit the armour and shouldn’t clip through belts or helmets. So in the end dwarves’ beards are like an extra transmog slot.

Boralus, Ironforge…

Ironforge has it? Odd. No other Horde city other than Orgrimmar has it, so I figured the Alliance cities work the same.

That being said, anything mobile is hugely convenient, so the mobile barbershop would be no different imo.

I clearly remember that UC had one before it got removed in BfA.
