I realy hoped we got a chanse in SoD but that newer hapend so i started a priest on aneversery.
Every time i had been able to dps in a dungeon so far has been good but people are far from good geared.
Im slowly working my guild to alowe me to run as smite and maby it will hapend when we get a few more healers.
My plan was and is still to playe smite and we are going in to TBC wich has tier set for us. 9/1 we can finaly start pvp in BG,s and i dont know why but we can realy crit hard in pvp.
I knoiw our biggest problem is mana but as fast as bosses goes down now there shouldent be any problem.
So please if any of you can show me a good pre raid list i would be wery thankful.
Smite priest is really bad. You could do decent DPS (for a priest) with a pala to provide judgment and maybe aura. Use sixtyupgrades to find gear, however you will have the same hit issues warlocks have, you will provide basically no utility to the raid beyond being a backup healer. Smite priest should have less mana issues than shadow priest assuming your raid uses judgement of wisdom.
Depending on if i use full disc or if i go more holy decide what i can buff. if i go full disc i can power some mage if not i only can buff spirit and stam and fearward they who needs it. smite priests is more to help defencively.
I will trye to do a 60 upgrade and se if i can sim it. Newer used any of them before so will see how i sucseed
cant see you will be invited into a raid or ony as smite ‘dps’. Hard getting in as shadow dps even WITH full vamp embrace xtra healing even though its very useful. I did 200k damage and 100 k healing on a trash run as shadow using vamp embrace. ← just think about this raid bosses, yeh im lowest healing but that 85 VE trickle heal - 200+ with a mind blast just saved your life mate. Here is the meta for raids - 2 VE shadow priests (or 1 disc for mage dmg buff and 1 ve shadow)- 2-4 Holy priests and 4-6 shammies.
