Anyone else worried they won't get their full T3 set in time?

(Note: This is just from a ‘completionist’ perspective, I know we don’t NEED full T3, but I think for some people, myself included, it would be nice to get the full tier of gear per content release)

I know we don’t know when (or even if) TBC Classic will be announced, but it seems very likely. I think I was one of the lucky ones with my T2 as in it didn’t take me too long to get it. However, now that T3 drops for all classes instead of your specific class, won’t it take much longer to get your T3 (and your other BiS gear from Naxx) as you’ll be fighting over X other classes to get that specific slot? And considering each piece is not a 100% drop chance…

Let’s say we have exactly 3 months after December 3rd to not only clear Naxx (I think it will take a bit longer to clear Naxx than it did AQ40; say most semi-hardcore guilds clear it in under a month, and most casual guilds clear it in under 3 months) but also to get your T3, is it really going to be possible for semi-hardcore guilds, at the very least, to get their main raiders equipped in full T3 before TBC Classic is released?

My bet is TBClassic will be announced on February (Blizzcon) to be released on mid summer. This means 20ish resets to get your T3, it might not be enough for a lot of ppl considering that I don’t expect a lot of ppl won’t be clearing Naxx from week one.

I do hope it’ll be released that late.

It depends on your class, since the tokens are class shared.

It also depends on your guild. A lot of my guildies don’t even want to bother with T3 because the materials required for it are just so expensive. Most are in the mindset that they’d rather save their gold for TBC

All 40? - Probably not.

Heck, you’d probably to be lucky to have 40 raiders for naxx, by the time “everyone” would get one tbh.

Raiders will start leaving in droves as soon as KT hits the ground. Collecting full T3 will be the least of your worries. Or rather, getting 30 ppl together to farm it will be much bigger problem than it actually dropping.

I think this will be the case for me personally I’m waiting to see once Naxx is on farm how many consumables will I need to bring each week and will flasks be required. If it can be done with minimal consumables such as Greater Arcane Elixir, Shadow Power and Wizard oil with some food buffs then I’ll happily log in once a week to raid it if I have to farm hundreds of gold per week to Flask and buy Greater protection potions then forget that.

It all depends on what class your playing and how many pieces your class uses in your “BiS list” so if your playing Holy Priest, Hunter (minus gloves), Prot Warrior, Combat/Dagger Rogue or Resto Druid chances are you will get your full set if your not then you probably just going to get the pieces you need if your playing Mage, Lock, Paladin, Fury War etc then will be competing against other people for OS pieces/cosmetic once everyone has the pieces they need for MS.

Depends on your loot system ofc but I’m assuming you have LC with my response.

I can tell you right now you won’t need the flask once the place is on farm. In fact, you don’t really “need” the elixira and oils either. If your raid dps is reasonable, you can even skip shadow pot on loatheb and make do with two bandages, a health pot and a health stone (if you can kill it under 4 min, which full raid absolutely will)
You can skip fire pot on 4H if you stack properly for meteor. You can ignore nature pots if you do all mechanics correctly (and put the healing judgement on loatheb as alli). Hack, if you craft the full frost resist gear and your healers are good, you can probably even skip frost pots on Sephiroth.
In fact, let me tell you right now, as a dps/healer you can do the entire Naxx with two bandages and a health stone from a lock. If you don’t mind being carried that is.
And you can absolutely, easily farm it with just the “cheap” consumes, maybe one fire pot for 4H, some normal nature pots for safety (they are 1,5g a pop), and like 5 frost pots for a safe Seph/KT.

Another thing is that many consumables are still used and viable in TBC. It’s probably not even a bad idea to stockpile them now already for the expansion.
At least not much will go to waste maybe you can even make a profit.
