Anyone who wants flying please read

I understand 310 flying makes It so certain people finish content too quickly. After much though and a lot of complaints I believe I’ve come up with a reasonable compromise. 60/100% fly speed in new zones after max level. No need for loremaster or every rep. Save that for 310 flying and pathfinder. That would feel like a real reward.

If you could only fly slow you wouldn’t go too high because of the longer travel time but you’d be able to see the world from above, overcome certain ledges and mountains. Even incorporate it so we need to fly to traverse gaps

I do not believe the whistle is the way. I’d prefer you remove the whistle and give us 60% fly speed in new zones.

I know it’s a lost cause, I just wanted to share my idea with someone and try and bring back some of the joy I feel has been taken away.

What do you all think?

Again, what content?

World bosses are a chore, not content.
WQs are a chore, not content.
Story quests are done once and then you don’t bother.
Invasions are already located in basically the same place so flying doesn’t even matter.
World PvP can be barely called content and you can dismount flyers with the net gun anyway.

If the open world is to have content then Blizzard has to release Timeless Isle 2.0, which, obviously, won’t have flying.

Everybody and their mother is wanting flying because there sure as hell is nothing to do on the ground right now. There’s no point for it to be 60%/100% speed.

Pathfinder part 2 needs to come before 8.2. Having to wait until summer for flying is just stupid.

Imo they should just go back to making bigger zones with flying in mind, and/or content designed based on it, like cloud serpents.

Honestly? I am so bitter they tried to take away flying and then brought it back as delayed thing at the end of expansions that i am not interested slightest at making compromises on it. It is like someone would steal something from me and try to make all kind of requests from me so i would get back what was mine to begin with (i know it is their game but talking about feeling here!). Not wanting it back as damaged or modifed or smaller or slower, just want to get original thing back. I am not negotiating with kidnappers! (don’t mean you OP, i mean Blizzard).

Me too! Don’t take my post personally, it just post about how feel about whole flying fiasco, not against your ideas. They would be better than what we got now but they would not remove my annoyance about the issue. :smiley:

I would say only flying is allowed during rush hour times, so from 07:00 - 09:00 in the moring and 16:00 - 19:00 in the evening :laughing: The rest of the time is called game time and you need to play the game :wink:
