People who are amazed should remember that WE have a nerfed version of vanilla. Black then, in 2004/2005 it was not 1.12 talents and same numbers of debuff slots.
I used to play wow vanilla with THIS warrior, believe me it was tougher than any private servers or wow classic.
Apes have always desyroyed any servers they played on (cross faction collusion, bugs exploit and so on) , don’t let them kill classic in thinking it’s easy. Just play and have fun.
I m really sorry for other players of gehenas, Apes will spoil this server as they spoil northdale.

Yes. 1.12 was the last patch in vanilla and 2 months before TBC.
The whole game was like free for loot.
No that was the pre-patch not 1.12. Now Classic is still of course very different from the launch state of the real thing but it’s not in TBC pre-patch.
World and dungeons certainly seem on point. I’ll hold my opinion on Molten Core for now. I hope it’s not that easy for most guilds, but we’ll see.
the prepatch was when we had the greyed out BE and dranei icons in the character creation, right? I started playing back then
Yes, that should be it. It was a long time ago so it makes sense that it would get mixed up with 1.12 in some peoples memories.
Are these the kind of threads that we’re waiting on for when BWL, AQ and naxx gets cleared too?
I don’t really know. But as for myself IDC at all. Vanilla is not about racing, competing (racing\raiding). Everyone chooses what’s the best for themselves. I have waited way too much to sit and just spam dungeons till lvl 60 and then be like, lol that was too easy. Gotta realize that the game is 15 years old. I have played most of “modernish” private servers, and now when i can finally play and not think that my character might be gone (rip nost) or something, that’s the true blessing. Who cares about world firsts and such on classic? Wasn’t it done like 15 years ago anyway? GZ to Apes tho. But not like it should touch anyone in any sense.
